“A fantastic used bookstore, absolutely packed full with a wide array of genres. Walking into the book addict is like walking back in time, aisles stacked high with classics and smells that distinct book smell. I saw stories I haven't seen in 25 year years and read as a child. I walked away wondering when I can come back again and browse, as there's so many books to buy.

I left having spent $30 on 4 novels, all relatively newer releases and was delighted with the woman running the counter, she was polite and friendly.

I'll be back again, and again. Happy to have found a gem in the city.”

“Beautiful store! Been searching around a lot for a crucifix but unfortunately London doesn’t have a lot of stores or shops! Stumbled upon this gem of a store and found the perfect one for my living space.

Got two other small crosses.

Love this store, the staff is super friendly, Would definitely come back”

“I honestly don't know what to say the person that owns the store is so knowledgeable about almost everything and has the most wonderful books and items. The experience is sort of hard to describe almost surreal because it's such a welcoming environment. I plan to come here as often as possible...”

“Wonderful! A treasure trove of books on spirituality, religions, philosophy, Wicca, self discovery/self healing/meditation, modalities, mindfulness. The owner is knowledgeable, approachable, and helpful in finding what you are seeking, & finding you what you need.

This is a definite Go-to source for anyone & everyone on their spiritual journey that’s looking for the perfect companion piece to read & guide them on towards the light. It was a pleasure meeting you! I will be back again soon.”

“Great books collection at an affordable price. If you’re not after the mainstream, finding your next great book is made so easy at Bread and Roses books. They have a loyalty program, you get 25% off after every 6 books you purchase. Support local!”

“I've only been to this bookstore twice but I really enjoyed my visits. There's a lot of books to look at...multiple floors!...so a lot of options, and I found the staff helpful :)”

“In a time when book retail is dominated by the box stores, who are being worked over by online stores like Amazon, this store is a welcome refuge for the book shopper.Having a good selection for its size, this store is an appealing alternative for the book buyer with a more personal retail service in the London Downtown area.”

“I love the old Chapters, but love the newly renovated one just as much. I've been in so many times recently, and could honestly wander around for hours, getting completely lost in all of the different aisles of books. I love the selection of hardcover classics. I have also had assistance from the sweetest and nicest staff. Particularly, they was a woman with short read hair (I don't know her name), who was very knowledgeable about a book I was looking to purchase. I absolutely love it here, and my kids enjoy coming with me, too. :)”

“such a beautiful indigo, i love the layout of the store and the size of it ensures lots of inventory and variety of items from books to games to baby items, i love it all. always on top of the latest trends and aesthetics as well!”

“Well organized with lots of WU swag. Space is tight so aisles are narrow. If you don't like crowds, definitely plan on going first thing in the morning! DO NOT, under any circumstances, try to go during move-in unless you thrive on chaos, crowds, and hours-long lines!! ?

If you go, and it's too jammed, come back another time. Was in there today at 1pm and had the place to myself. That's one advantage of going before school begins!!

For textbooks, go online. It's easier, often cheaper, and you get better return policies(!)

Have a great semester!! ?”

“I had a fantastic experience at Coles. The staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me with selecting the perfect birthday gift. Although it's a smaller store, it offered a great variety of options.”
