“This is a fabulous place, the owner is wonderful and the physical store is fabulous. The customer service, the selection, the overall experience is worth every penny. I get upset when I see people saying things like, the prices are too high, if you think Amazon remembers your name, your story and can have a lovely chat with you, then have at it. This is a place of welcome and inclusion. It costs money ( mortgage, heating, cooling, snow removal etc etc) to provide this amenity. It cost the owner her love and effort to keep it open. I will always go to Mandala for my book needs AND have a wonderful time chatting with whomever is working.”

“Saw this indie bookstore in passing and took a trip in. Sparse but curated selection. A variety of new and used books for all ages, with some stationary and puzzles. Content was very forward thinking. You're pretty much on your own to browse, but owner available as needed, upon request. It was refreshing to not have someone in your face trying to push a sale. Enjoyable experience, but if you want someone to guide you through the store and book selection, this may not be for you. An introverts dream book shopping scenario though!”

“This is one of my favorite places to visit even before I became alumni. I was very glad to take my friend's daughter down to Western for a tour and you know we could visit the campus without visiting the bookstore. My friMy friend and her daughter bought a ton of Western gear. I'm not sure she is ready to be a future Mustang. I'm not sure if alumni know this, but if you register for an alumni card you can get 15% off at the bookstore”
