“Had good experiences in this store until late this afternoon. I told one cashier I am searching for the light Jean capris that were here a few weeks ago. She sent me to Cleo’s. I didn’t find and went back to the store and another cashier said no we don’t call other stores. She said they’re closing. I said so no customer service. She said take care. I laughed. I said take care. She laughed. I continued going out the store laughing. The employees would probably know the product best and still be able to find on computer or call?! No customer service because they’re closing the store. It never stops. Is that why Ricki’s is closing ?!”

“I like shopping at Hot Topic and used to shop there a lot since they open at Masonville Mall since 2016-2017. I do missed the original employees who were the first ones to be hired, but I do wish them all the best. I went to Hot Topic a few times this week looking forward of their Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 merchandise, and also I am waiting for their Halo: Series 2 mystery blind bags made by Monogram. However, the prices is only in American Dollars (USD), and they would not shipped or accept the pre-orders outside the United States. This is if you do want to shop on Hot Topic online, but complicated for their Canadian consumers. If you are shopping from Canada, good luck trying to wait until the pre-order date is on its official release date, and doing the currency exchange rate from American to Canadian Dollars. The staffs at Hot Topic in Masonville Mall are so nice and friendly. They have good style and would like to accept they will have my business on my next future visit whenever I am at Masonville Mall shopping at Hot Topic hence looking forward for their Halo blind bags as a die-hard Halo fan. They do have Death Note, Sum 41, SpongeBob and a whole lot more. I would buy their Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 t-shirts before wearing it and watching the movie at Silver City Cineplex in Masonville Mall. The girls working at the cashier are super friendly. That is the kind of business I will support is customer service and I will patronize their business even it has been a long time without shipping there. The new staffs of 2025 are fantastic doing their jobs while on duty. I will be doing my Christmas shopping and birthday shopping there soon. What are you waiting for, folks? You need to go to Hot Topic at Masonville Mall. From tees, blind bags and your favourite movies. Hot Topic has it all! I will be back! I was there to look for Christmas ideas at Hot Topic at Masonville Mall on Friday, December 5th, 2025. I will look forward coming back for their Halo: Series 2 mystery blind bags made by Monogram. Hot Topic should carry some Final Fantasy and Halo products, too. I will come back for their 2026 products of the Mario Galaxy Movie and Toy Story 5. Hot Topic has the best tees when it comes to upcoming movies! I like every staffs at Hot Topic! Again, super friendly and best customer service! I will be back!”

“I had to find a guest prom dress a couple months ago. I was in a rush because prom was next week and I absolutely had no idea what I wanted or would look good in. There were these couple young girls that greeted me with so much kindness and enthusiasm, they got very excited when I told them my prom theme and started bringing dresses to try. I really appreciated all this because I was shopping by myself and didn’t know what I was even doing! Everyone was so sweet and recommended me a place to buy shoes and purse for prom as well. One of the girls there brought me their last yellow dress that was in my size and on sale! I loved it so much and got compliments from the workers there and people in the other try on stalls!! overall a very friendly environment and affordable and helpful!”
