Hours: Ethnic Supermarket is a local grocery store in Milton that offers a good selection of Asian foods, including spices, meats, fresh produce, and baked goods. Customers appreciate the variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as the hot tables with prepared foods. The store also features a garden centre in spring, with beautiful flowers, herbs, vegetables, and indoor plants. Staff are friendly and welcoming, making shopping a pleasant experience. Many shoppers find the prices reasonable and the produce fresh, often switching from larger stores to this local option for their groceries. However, some concerns have been raised about the freshness of meat, with reports of foul smells and products that need to be cooked the same day. Additionally, there have been issues with perishable items like noodles, where some were found to be moldy upon inspection, highlighting the importance of checking expiration dates. Despite these issues, overall, customers feel the store is a convenient place to find specific items, especially when they don't want to wait for trips to Mississauga. The store is appreciated for its assortment and reasonable prices, making it a popular spot for ethnic grocery shopping in the area.
