“I have been shopping at Vistek for the past couple years for my photography needs - camera (Canon R6 Mark II), lenses (Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS, Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM, Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens and Canon RF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM), battery grip, flash (Godox V1 Round Head TTL Flash - Canon), tripod (Manfrotto MT190CXPRO4 Carbon Fibre Tripod 4 Section), tripod head (Manfrotto MHXPRO-3WG Geared Head) and other accessories.
I only have had great experience every time, both at the store and online, so far... *knock on wood*
At the store, I have dealt with LAN several times (at Mississauga location), both in-person and over the phone - requesting to check stock and hold it for me for pick-up. He has been very helpful, even when I didn't end up making a purchase during some visits. I have been eyeing the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z Lens (White) for a while now, waiting for it to go on a deeper sale OR I have to skip my house mortgage for a month. Priorities, am I right? LAN kept my phone number and told me he will call me when it goes on sale. I believe not treating the customer as means to an end earns loyalty over time.
My online experience has been phenomenal as well. I have bought the battery grip, tripod and geared head online. They reached in great condition.
One incident I'd like to add regarding my post-purchase experience online. I bought the Manfrotto tripod and geared head during boxing week while it was on sale. The tripod went on a deeper sale late January. I reached out and inquired if they can credit me the difference. I was informed that the Price Guarantee Policy is 14 days, not 30 days, as I initially assumed. However, CAITLIN (Web Sales Customer Support Associate) went above and beyond, granting a one-time exception to their policy and credited the difference. That is just top notch customer service!
