The cashier, Chuck, provided me with the best customer experience. He went above and beyond in regards to helping me find certain products. “I live in Streetsville so maybe a bit biased, but I love the small town vibe this LCBO gives off. From the super friendly staff to the smaller selection (very small vintage section but still a ton of choices for wines, liquors, and beer from around the world, plus my favourite Bourbons availability), this store is well organized and efficient. Very rarely do I see lines to cash out (except for busy holidays).”

He was very kind and took the time to explain the differences between the wines, what to buy, and how to read the labels to determine for ourselves what we should get in the future. We ended up getting a wine we did not even know we wanted when we first walked in because of his recommendation. Very well informed and excellent at what he does. Definitely made the hour and a half trip worth it!”

“There was a long line-up at this Rockwood Mall location that borders Burnhamthorpe Rd E; social distancing measures in effect.I was in the neighbourhood and wanted to pick up a few drinks for an evening social.We in Ontario now have choice! There are other retailers like grocery stores that I could buy beer at like Walmart, Metro and Loblaws stores.All prices are regulated by the LCBO so it’s not like I’m going to save anything by going elsewhere just now.Well, if I’m ever displeased with the service, I have options! That’s always a good thing.”

“Nine months prior, I had endured an unfortunate dining experience at Scaddabush but today I experienced true excellence. Eric, our server, embodied sincerity. His genuine attentiveness and friendly smile transformed our evening. Eric's knowledge of the new spring menu was also impressive! Our dishes arrived promptly starting with the the Polenta Fries, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The marinara sauce was very flavorful and left me craving more. My Mediterranean Salmon was wonderful and very well seasoned. A little less foliage and beans would have allowed the salmon’s perfection to shine otherwise, very enjoyable. The Truffle Gnocchi and delicious cream sauce just melted in your mouth. The Toasted Pina Colada and Old Fashioned cocktails were perfectly balanced thanks to a very talented mixologist at the bar. Reina and Natalie, the new management came over to our table which was a nice surprise. Even handed me a couple of coupons for next time,! And there will be a next time. Their warm greeting and genuine interest in our experience made me feel like a cherished guest. Scaddabush has redeemed itself. Eric, your sincerity is the secret ingredient. Reina, Natalie, take a bow. To the hardworking staff who turned this ship around, I say: Molto bene! ??.”
