“HUGE WALMART, huge grocery section which is restocked daily! Friendly greeting staff as well. No matter what I need walmart has become my new go to place, they've only really not had a few items ive needed (vegan margarine, big canvases, candle wicks) Every isle has a wide selection except cats & books, but still this super store is just that! Its massive!!! The convenience & size is why It gets 4 stars and my realization that they dont delivery is why that 5th star stays with me! So what if I dont drive I cant buy big furniture ? I was told to go online for my two large wardrobes but when I did the site said it was too large to deliver... What? Lol!!! So i got someone with a truck to help me, someone helped bring it outside but didnt help lift it up into the truck which I found rude. The elevator outside is also always broken, which is also on bayshore but none the less enjoy walking down 8 flights of stairs with a million bags!”

“I have been a customer of Loblaws for 25 years and always liked the store and the brands. The last few years though, the prices have gone up faster than other nearby groceries stores. I have a feeling I am not the only one as it is never busy. There are still good 50% off deals to be found though, but some of the food basics are cheaper at other stores. For example, Loblaws charges $15 a kg for mushrooms, while the competition charges $10. Tofu is $3.98 at Loblaws and the exact same tofu is $2.98 at the competition. The store also has become a lot quiter the last 2 years.”

“Clean and prices as good as anywhere. The cashier was friendly today snd the store was not crowded. It is a little bit of a walk from the parking lot on either side to the front door, which might be tricky for anybody with mobility challeng es.”

He had a smile on his face, and you could truly feel his positive energy and how much he enjoys his job and helping others. “My wife and I stopped by last week to get our annual Flu shot. In some respects, things went better than expected; while in others, they did notFirst, we also wanted to get an updated COVID vaccine booster, but based upon a phone call a couple of days before, we were told the clinic did NOT have any COVID vaccineSo, then I went to book our appointments online in order to reduce our wait time at the pharmacy clinic and to save us having to complete all the paperwork. Our first surprise was that online, it was allowing to book an appointment for Flu and COVID - Great!Unfortunately, once I finished filling everything out and clicked "Confirm" (or "Submit" or whatever), it came back that there was a problem. I had run into a problem completing the form along the way and had learned that a Red/Pink Caution message pops up describing the problem so that you knew what to correctGreat, so, as there was no such message on the page I had just completed when I submitted my request, I hit "Back" (or "Previous Page" or whatever). Still no problem sited. So, back again and again, until I went all the way back to the very first page where you selected the time you want for your appointment. The time I had selected was no longer availableIt seems that when you select a time, it does not get held for you. Someone else also picked the same time and submitted their request before I did, so I lost my selected appointment slot. I was able to select a new slot (though not really the time I wanted); BUT all the information I had previously filled in was lost, so I had to start all over againWell, forget that! We decided that we would simply take our chance with a walk-inThis turned out very well. We arrived between 11:45 and 11:50. There was no one ahead of us except one person with a scheduled appointment. Nevertheless, given the paperwork we had to fill out, this was not a problemOur timing could not have been better, as quite a few people started showing up at Noon or shortly thereafter. So, showing up a little before Noon for walk-ins is definitely a good idea if you can manage itAgain, we had been told that there was no COVID vaccine on hand; so, when I got in to get me Flu shot, I asked when do they expect to get any COVID vaccine in so that we know when to return. The answer was a surprise - they did have some COVID vaccine available. So, back to the waiting area. More paperwork. More waiting; but we got our COVID vaccine boosters, too!All in all, we were in and out in just a smidge under one hour”

“I came in a few Fridays ago, it was the day after the rotating strike was announced. I needed oversized stamps. It was the last stop on my list of errands, and when I walked up to the post office counter, there was a sign saying the person working was on break for twenty more minutes. I rang the bell anyway. A friendly cashier came over, explained the person was on lunch. I was unimpressed that the counter was unmanned for twenty more mins and asked to speak to the manager. I was on a tight schedule and the counter is supposed to be open all day. Manager was very friendly, explained that Canada Post wasn't keeping the spot fully staffed during the strike. I asked if he could sell me the pack of stamps, but even as manager, he wasn't trained on the job. They offered to check, and the Canada Post guy was in the back. Braeden hopped off his break to sell the stamps, and was all smiles. I thanked him kindly. He appeared more than happy to do it. Amazing employee, A++ for Braeden!!! I don't recall the name of the cashier, but I believe the manager's name was Mark. Super helpful, friendly team, wonderful service.”

“Pleasantly professional pharmacy. They are good for explaining medications when you are new. Even without asking.
They also will dispose of old medication, unlike Shoppers who tell you to put your old meds in the garbage.
Staff are nice.
Sales are interesting with new items in different weeks.

“There are a lot of negative reviews for the pharmacy department, so I thought I'd share my experience.

I have experienced some really bad pharmacies, and by comparison, this one is great. I always get my medications on time and the service is friendly and professional. They always notify me if there will be a delay in receiving my prescription, which has only happened once in a year of using this pharmacy. I think the low rating is undeserved.”
