After finding out about a nation-wide backorder issue for the life saving drug required by one of my family members, the Shoppers pharmacy told me to figure it out and try to find stock elsewhere myself.After calling a dozen pharmacies who told me they could not help me, I luckily reached the Orleans Compounding Community Pharmacy. The pharmacist went above and beyond to help me secure the prescription we needed, took care of transferring my prescription and insurance information over from Shoppers, and had the prescription ready in less than 24 hours.The pharmacist made this otherwise incredibly stressful process smooth and offered exceptional, personalized customer service.The pharmacy is clean and there was no wait time in line upon arrival. The pharmacist went above and beyond to appease concerns about ensuring the drug was the exact one required by proactively sharing the DINs for the medication and really soothed our concerns.I am happy to have found this pharmacy and will never go back to a big store pharmacy again! “Switched to this pharmacy after having major issues with the shoppers on Rideau. It’s actually further away from me and less convenient to get to for me, but it’s 100% worth it. The pharmacist / owner is so kind, remembers me by name, and always pops to the front of the counter to say hi when I swing by to pick up my prescriptions. She actually cares about her patients. She’s super accommodating if I need a refill quickly, and if they run out, she finds a way to get me my meds if it means taking 2 tens instead of 1 20 dose, which my other pharmacies never did. I like the family run, community feel to this pharmacy and really recommend their pharmaceutical services. You won’t fall through the cracks here.The longest I’ve ever waited is 5 minutes for a prescription and that’s rare, whereas at the shoppers it was minimum 15-30 mins and they constantly lost my prescriptions.”

The pharmacy is small, but if you need something not in stock, he will do his best to provide it in any way he can.”

Basically, I have great praise for Flora Medical Pharmacy."In my 7 decades on planet Earth, I've never encountered a pharmacy so dedicated to serving _everyone_ they meet, customer or otherwise, in such a friendly and compassionate way. These photos are of 2 of my 3 friends at Flora Pharmacy on Bank Street in Ottawa.Clients include seniors on limited income, persons living on the street, those with both physical and mental disabilities, the desperately ill with no reasonable access to health services and others.Everyone (with the likely exception of those making a living by selling street drugs) is 100% treated with dignity and respect (I was told "people need to feel loved before they can overcome addiction").First 2 photos are of M-----. She and husband A-- own the pharmacy (A-- is a pharmacist) and arrived from Egypt a few decades ago. She's making sandwiches for street people for Thanksgiving: 2 slices of sandwich meat + 1 slice cheese + mayo + greens in a fresh bun. Add 2 pastry treats and 2 small chocolate bars, and she's done. Bottom right of the cooler shows her progress for the morning, and she's not done. I wasn't able to get a photo of her husband.Drinks in the cooler are often given out for free. I've seen those needing to take their pills right away being offered free bottled water or fruit juice. I've seen some being being offered healthy energy snacks, and others being pleaded with that they go to Emergency for treatment.Third photo is of my friend F---- who arrived somewhat recently from Egypt. I don't think I've ever met a more compassionate and patient man, one who truly loves being a pharmacist and almost obsessively knowing everything that he possibly can about his profession. Lol I know he's patient because I've become quite talkative (living alone + old age + ? male) and he always listens so respectfully.Today being Thanksgiving, I give thanks for those many but usually hidden-from-view people on planet Earth who are like M-----, A-- and F----".”

I like gullòn Maria biscuits because its similar to Rich Tea biscuits I was eating in UK. Its good for breakfast at work.Also, the queue was moderate and cashier was friendly.”
