Niagara Kyo-Mart is a fantastic and authentic Japanese grocery store that has been serving the community since 1999. It is a great discovery and an absolute gem, offering a great assortment of snacks, drinks, and quality Japanese food. The selection is outstanding, with more stuff than expected, ranging from sushi ingredients and frozen ready-to-cook items to Japanese candy and items hard to find elsewhere. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, sweet, and polite. The store is clean, and there is also a restaurant right next door. It is a must-visit and makes a trip to Niagara completely worth it.

This place is fantastic. The weekend lunch bowls, onigiri, even the pickles, such a great discovery. Yasmine and the other staff are so sweet, and so polite, and you can find some Japanese items here that are even hard to find in the GTA. Such a treat, and makes it a day-trip to Niagara completely worth it!

If you like cooking Japanese cuisine this place is a must! Incredibly helpful staff. Outstanding selection of food from make your own sushi ingredients to frozen ready to cook chicken or pork gyoza, takoyaki balls complete with sauce and bonito flakes, even ready to cook tonkotsu ramen!
