I find the staff great and willing to help ..... BUT if you ask me to rate Scotia online .... Zero Stars.Reporting a lost card ... what a disaster !

Staff is great !! hours suck ! My only complaint ! That's not the staffs fault so The bank manager , Mary is the best hands down manager I’ve ever met at any bank . I’ve been to many of them . Natalie was the assistant bank manager at Scotia five corners branch. I was certainly sad to see her leave. She’s an amazing person. Very helpful. Always help me out with just a phone call. She’s moved to another branch to become a manager. I’m sure the people dealing with her are very happy.. Marie and Nat are what made that branch. Amazing thank God Mary still there.

Honestly bank itself is good but man their customers service is garbage. There tellers don’t actually care about the customers and their money. They just want to get rid of you as soon as possible. Once I’m done fixing my issues with I will be closing my account

This Scotiabank branch is the worst one in the Niagara Region and possibly beyond; I experienced why, after engaging them for a mortgage. The staff & management at this branch screwed up with my mortgage setup, and Scotiabank only provides ridiculously long & impotent replies to complaints & escalations, all of which were futile. I wasted months on trying to to get this branch and Scotiabank to rectify their mistakes & failures with my mortgage. It was very frustrating for me, because I am stuck with Scotiabank for the duration of the mortgage term. There's a positive end to this experience & review: Ultimately, the mistakes & failures surrounding my mortgage were sorted out through one brief visit to the Scotiabank branch on McLeod, where I met a gentleman named Chris, who actually cares about his customers/clients/patrons, unlike most other Scotiabank staff that are "passing the buck" with their status quo bank culture. You can have everything moved from this horrible branch to another, so don't feel trapped if you are a Scotiabank client. I requested all of my Scotiabank matters to be "redomiciled" to the McLeod branch; it is relatively easy to have done.I hope this review & info helps other people.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had at a bank. Appalled by the nature and tone of the manager working in the branch on Saturday.

Staff is useless... why mix with tangerine if you can't do anything for the clients? Waste of time.

Everything else was good but the security guard there was a little girl. I was setting my account on a side she came to me for help. I did not even ask her for help. She was standing over my head for the all time which was very uncomfortable. Just a advise if now anything happen with my account i know she was watching my phone all the time so i can blame her easily. So just a advise for future a banking detail is the private thing so do not came for help until or unless someone asked you to do so and do not stand over anyones head while someone is using their account.I felt really bad about that. Now eventhough everything is fixed on my amount but i still have a doubt in my mind that she saw some of the details which is not good.

Not one but TWO advisors at the branch don’t know how to properly close accounts and don’t know what they are doing. Had to call multiply times to make sure the account was closed. Train your workers

Lina is wonderful. I had a pretty scary situation happen with my finances today and she helped me as soon as she could, solved my issue with empathy. It seems like this is a fairly busy branch, so I can see why some negative reviews reflect that. At the end of the day people are just trying to do their job. A little kindness from both sides goes a long way.

Worst customer service!!!! A mid-aged teller with blonde short hair is just plain rude and has a very negative attitude. She keeps rolling her eyes at people and asks for unnecessary procedures. Time wasted, had to deal with this unpleasant employee yet problem remained unsolved.Clearly they weren’t interested in helping customers to solve issues at all.No wonder reviewers say this branch is the worst. I heard managers here were as bad, otherwise they would be more careful with people they hire.
