They did it again, found a locking mechanism ( thanks Nikki) for a patio door that I didn't even know existed..other hardware store and web sites don't sell them as it's not an item that people often buy so they force you to buy the whole assembly or door if they could. But not gateway they keep these little things on the shelf for the good ol' fixer upper people ...double thumbs up Gateway..”

“2024: Alannah has stepped up to the healm and really cleaned up house. Nice greetings and service that doesn't look displeased when my partner and I come to shop. We don't get dirty looks when using a status card we don't get dirty. Looks when using the membership that was paid for. It's really night and day. They changed for the better
2023: Took me a while to write this out as I couldn't believe what was happening. I'm concerned about what management is doing about this because it seems to be rather widespread. There seems to be some bias against certain customers. I had to get my partners receipt fixed after multiple occasions after they were checked out by a certain teller. If your First Nations or of color and shopping here check your receipts, make sure, if you're buying on sale items particularly, that your paying appropriately; Amount cut and price charged. If not check your receipt and see who checked you out, I have had this happen most frequently after Linda checked out my partner. Hopefully this review will serve enough to get someone's actions into check. We also had the staff try to discourage getting a fabricland membership card if your use a status card, watched this one happen in person I believe this was also Linda, and lastly they had a hiring sign on the door, my partner tries to apply, they were told that fabricland couldn't do anything for them and that at first wouldn't accept the resume. But before my partner could leave the door, they requested to take the resume even though they had already stated that they wouldn't hire them without having done any interview.
To this day I believe that they still have a hiring sign on their door. They're looking for part-time, but apparently, and from what I've heard it comes with the details of you must always be on call and always available unconditionally.
