“The York Farmers Market is an asset to the neighborhood and I'm so grateful to live around the corner. The best carrot cake and fresh baked goods from the bakery at the entrance. Stuart Carrols butcher shop is a stalwart. The best florist in Thornhill for a special occasion. Grab a drip coffee and relax at Burukudu. Reesors for a world class selection of cheeses and organic goods. Stop by the middle eastern booth for their mini shawarma pizzas (you'll thank me later) And George is making some of the best fresh pasta in the city, I wish this guy got more recognition. Overall, please support these local businesses. They are the lifeblood of our economy and are few and far between. Without our support, the market could end up as another Condo development or faceless corporation. York Farmers Market over Loblaws any day of the week. We love this place dearly”

“The best place for fresh squeezed juice in town. In addition to their orange juice, they have recently added an option of beet juice and it was a mix of a variety of fruits juices together. I am not a huge beets person myself but I absolutely LOVE the beet juice from here! Their formula for it hits my spot and it provides very good nutritional benefits.”

Great selection of produce but it’s not always as fresh as it ought to be at these prices but you can just pick something better for yourself. Warm homey feel. Decent prepared items but could make slightly better food on that front.”
