“I just want to say that this is the best Sangak bread I ever had in Canada. I can’t recommend going here enough. The people working there are all very helpful and nice.”
“We love this place, they usually have good deals. Good selection of vegan/meat/sweets/baked goods.
Items are heavily discounted as they are often past dates or end of production”

“I had a wonderful experience at this supermarket! The staff was friendly and readily available to help.
Today, I had the privilege of chatting with Chef Baran, who prepares an amazing Ash Sabzi - it was incredibly tasty, and her genuine kindness made the interaction even more enjoyable.”
“Absolutely adorable shop for east european pastries. Initially, we were hoping to find some medovik when walking into the store, but they didn't have it. The lady behind the counter kindly introduced us to cherry pie, cream roll with cheese and a lot of other stuff.. We got a bunch of them. They tasted very homemade and delicious. Would definitely recommend.”
“Location is very low key but the food and staff are awesome. Ask for Raffaela.
Have ordered for 3 upcoming functions. Prices are reasonable and comparable.”
“Finally somewhere close to home where I can buy my favorite seamoss brand ! Hoping you guys will sell their other products too , Real Life Sea Moss is the GOAT for anything health tbh!”
“So fortunate to have this gem of a fruit market so close to home. The family who own this market are incredibly friendly and helpful. I also appreciate their modest flower selection in the summer.”
“A treasure trove of kosher delights! This store offers a wide variety of Israeli flavors, with a staff that truly cares about keeping your table sacred. Wonderful service, wonderful products - a blessing for any kosher shopper!”
“Only issue is they used to have a cart that had a pull out handle and wheels. Now its the same basket. You go to any Asian supermarkets and they all use the small cart.”
“Being new in the area, I was looking for somewhere I can purchase my meats from. Google and this grocery location came up. Don't regret going. Amazing fresh meat. Owners are very friendly and willing to help. Support the small businesses. Will definitely be my go to place now.”
“I visited boyo African store and I was very impressed with the service everything was spotless and neat. Wide variety of African Caribbean groceries and fresh food items Their professionalism and customer service exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this african store”
“This place is good. By good I mean top notch convenience store good. It has a lot of hygiene products and has the best snacks and 5 fridges full of drinks, they even have aloe Vera drinks and tomato juice. Surprisingly, this place has ramen! There are a lot of types such as cup o noodles all the way to kung fu ramen. The store has a stationary section with scissors, pencils, erasers, and chargers. The place has lottery tickets (opened on June 3 ) and a place near the entrance with a couple bracelets and jewelry. The flowers are a reasonable price, and at the entrance to the store there is a bus stop, and one bike stand. If you’re planning on stopping by here, you don’t even have to lock your bike. I really recommend to go here for road trip stops or while going on a bike ride for a fuel up.”
“We had an unpleasant situation at this store, but the customer support team was very understanding and responsive. They resolved the issue in a fairly short time and offered a suitable alternative. Overall, we appreciate their professionalism and willingness to help.”
“I love coming here to shop. Though the prices are still more on the mid to high -range side, the quality of the products are amazing and there is so much variety. It's hard to leave the store without a missing item.”
“The bakery consistently offers fresh bread, I love the hot Turkish style bread and pides they make there, I also love the crispy simit they make which is the istanbul style very common in Turkey and great for breakfast with cheese and butter and also the butcher section is outstanding, with fully halal options. Prices are absolutely reasonable. The staff are welcoming, and there’s a solid range of imported products. Most of the products are imported from Turkey, they are excellent products. For quite a long perios Istanbul Fine Foods have been my most preferred store, I alos like the variety of the products they offer, I’ll definitely continue to visit Istanbul Fine Foods, it is my favorite supermarket.”
“Great grocery store. Many options available in produce meat and staples. Fresh fish available as well. You can find things from all around the world here. Cashier are very quick. Staff are able to speak English Mandarin and Cantonese. Clean store though some isle can be narrow. Always a good sale on. No free WiFi. Parking can be difficult to find.”
“I have just moved to North York, and walking distance to Leo's market. It's a beautiful, European style little market but provides everything from gelato icecream to fresh sandwiches, salads and hot, delicious food to satisfy all diverse tastes ? It's also a wonderful place for cakes and cookies and delectable pastries! My delight was finding fresh vegetables and fruits, and a variety of breads with a deli and fresh fish, chicken and other meats, and so much more! All the people who work there are friendly and super helpful. I recommend that you visit Marcheleo's Market and you'll be tempted to shop there everyday!”

“5/5 for GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES AND HONEST BEHAVIOUR.They erroneously overcharged my husband by $4. He didn't even notice. An hour later, the phone rang - the Adjumoni was apologising on the phone (in Hanguel-mal) about overcharging us and please please make sure we get the $4 when we return again. I said: "ken chan ah yoh" (don't worry about it) and she was adamant about us receiving the $4. She must have taken our phone number off the points card. This is an example of honest proprietors and staff. Good people.Tae dan hi kamsah hamnidah!”
“If it weren't for my parents I wouldn't know where to get proper seasoned steak meat. Sure the owners are a little spicy lol but they do joke around too. Love this spot”

“The small little girl that works there is exceptional! She's very knowledgeable about the products and her customer service skills are excellent! Great products as well!”
“I do not consider myself to be a regular at speciality grocery stores but Nortown is my exception. They have so much variety of high quality products, I always find myself trying out a new jam or cracker brand. I frequently come here for the meat due to the quality and exquisite taste. You can tell it’s a family owned business because every time you go into the store you are treated like family.”
“I purchased Joud Bakeries baklava from Longos and it's delicious!! It is the perfect amount of sweet and somehow stays so crispy for weeks. I wish this bakery was closer to me so that I could purchase it directly from the bakery. Highly recommend!!”
“As a true cheese monger I want to give a big shout out to the deli department. I have not ordered freshly cut cheeses on-line for many years as I have almost always been disappointed with the quality regardless of which store I had ordered them from. I was in a pinch and took the chance and was extremely impressed with all of the various pieces especially the two types of brie. Thank you for the dedication and detail you clearly place on maintaining your cheese section.”
“Wanted yo ask an employee where rice paper was, just need the general directuon but the gentleman took the time to personally take me there even though he was busy.”
“Filipino grocery, has a variety of filipino products on shelves, and other asian products. They also sell minimal fresh produce and meat and refrigerated food items. I cant comment on how fresh their produce and meats are because ive never bought them. We buy our balut here, they sell it a whole package.
The store feels cramped with tight aisles. But it is manageable to walk around people. The cashier works fast, so line ups arent too long. The place is pretty clean and organized.
Prices are a tad bit more expensive if you compare it to bigger grocery chains like no frills.”
“Visited this store for the first time today, lovely little store packed with all kinds of wonderful Dutch thoroughfare. Owner and staff are very friendly and if you're looking for a little bit of feeling you are in Holland, make sure you put this store on your places to visit, whether you live here or are visiting Toronto. Dank u wel !”
