“Whether you need high quality meat, fresh produce or just a small snack to feel like you are back home, OneLove is the best place to go. Always willing to help and the staff is great. I come here for my specialty Caribbean groceries and I don't go no where else! You won't go to OneLove just one time, you will go back for their service, meats, produce and all items from back home!”
“Metro always has a great display, a fresh and inviting selection, and lots of variety. The store is well organized, making it easy to find everything I need. Great shopping experience!”
“When I was a child I frequented this location with my parents, enticed by the promise of Fruit Roll-Ups and Cheestrings. The company which once inhabited this location was once Price Chopper. Much has changed since then but some things haven't. The warmth and good nature of the staff is what has kept me shopping here all these years. On any given day you may hear the produce manager whistling a cheery tune as you decide on which variety of apples appeals to you. He is often there, greeting customers with a gentle tenderness that makes one feel truly welcome. Throughout the grocery aisles, the stocking clerks work quietly and diligently. Occasionally the silence is broken by an uproar in laughter as they push their stock carts past the cashiers and someone cracks a lighthearted joke. Once ready to checkout, you will be greeted by a cashier who reminds you of your super cool, favourite aunt. In the background, a staff member returning from their break brings in a tray of hot drinks for the rest of the staff which elevates everyone's spirit and adds a glimmer of magic to what can feel like a mundane day. You exchange pleasantries with the cashiers, discussing the weather and plans for the day and then you depart, feeling a renewed sense of hope for the day and for humanity at large. These small pleasantries should never be taken for granted as they are the foundation of a community with heart. Thank you freshco for bringing a little warmth into our lives on these cold winter days.”
“I want to relate a great experience at this store that occurred yesterday. While waiting to check out, there were two check outs open. Both had multiple customers with full carts. There was one couple with a handful of items. I suspect a cashier had been summoned to open a third aisle. A young guy named Gus opened the aisle and cashed the customers out before the cashier arrived. I just thought that was excellent customer service thinking. A few minutes later I was loading my items into my car, and there was Gus retrieving the carts. Even though the cart drop was only one aisle over, he came over and retrieved my cart. That is top shelf service! Employees like Gus make companies great! I relayed this to Store Manager Leeanne Grams, who is a very nice lady. These employees make a customer want to come back.”
“This FreshCo has really good prices and deals. They didn’t really have much in stock for meat (maybe because the prices were so good). I have 4 stars because there was a staff member restocking shelves and every time he dropped something he would get really mad and start swearing at himself. It seemed at times he was having an argument with himself which made me and my family feel a little uncomfortable. I think this employee needs a little more training on proper etiquette when on the floor rather than dismissal.”
“It's an awesome place to do groceries shopping The environment is clean and neat, the attendants are courteous and friendly, always assisting The stockers are very active and neat too”
Walmart just launched Realm, its new 3D online shopping platform. To help you visualize what that means, imagine a virtual mall packed with bright colors, wacky landscapes, and cartoon avatars wandering around. Realm lets you browse "digital doubles" of real Walmart products by navigating through several make-believe worlds. "We believe this is the future of commerce," said Justin Breton, who leads brand experiences at Walmart. "It won't replace our website or app, but will complement them."
