Arts Court is a clean and secure building with a convenient location. It has a beautiful and unique venue, great for exploring, with various rooms and art galleries. The building hosts different events, such as music conferences, improvement shows, and avant-garde shows. It also offers information sessions on arts funding. Visitors can attend scavenger hunts and explore the building. Arts Court has a rich history, originally a courthouse, and has been restored and transformed into an important arts center in Ottawa since 1988. It welcomes art galleries and shows, making it a great place to discover local talent and even buy original paintings.
I had the good pleasure of attending a multicultural artists coalition event and discovering Kimya (means peace in Congolese) and supporting Abena a wonderful spoken word artist and dancer. The venue was perfect and grateful that we have such spaces here in Ottawa.

Incredible art hub for theatre in Ottawa One of my favourite places. I visit frequently be it for the Ottawa Fringe or seeing a Wayward Improv Theatre Show The layout can be a bit confusing so make sure to allow time to navigate.

Arts Court and the OAG are located in a combination historical building (the old courthouse) and a new addition. It's a beautiful space with a lot of arts and cultural events going on.
