“We try to visit museums on Sunday mornings when it's quiet, and the National Gallery did not disappoint, we strolled in right around 10am and had whole rooms almost to ourselves. The Great Hall with that glass ceiling looking out over the river and Parliament is worth the trip alone, we just sat on a bench taking it in for a good ten minutes. One of the staff at the front desk noticed we were a bit lost and personally walked us over to the Group of Seven collection, which made my husband's day since that's his favorite. Plenty of parking nearby and the whole place felt calm and well kept, we'll definitely be back next time we're in Ottawa.”

It would be wonderful if they started organizing exhibitions and rotating the collection so visitors could enjoy more of these pieces through special exhibition events. They could even host annual exhibitions with different themes, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity represented here. This would be a great opportunity for people working in government buildings, as well as visitors from outside the area, to discover and appreciate the beautiful art we have here.”

“I love this dog park and I highly recommend it! Super convenient and close to home. It's the first time that I go to a dog park where you can bring a ball/Frisbee and there's no fight: dogs are all playing/running together. My only concern is that it would be great to eventually have grass everywhere instead of asphalt. Also, a double door would be better for dogs safety :) I understand that this area used to be a basketball court but it seems that it was never fully converted to a normal dog park.”

“Have been visiting this store for almost 20 years now, and I am very surprised to read the negative reviews. Ross, my husband, and I talk on every visit. We catch up on each other's family. Ross is patient and I ramble on regarding the latest world event, and I learn a lot from him; he is very well read. In terms of the service - top drawer! Hence our shopping there for almost 20 years. Delusions of Grandeur is our first stop whenever we need anything for the house: furniture, wall decor, figurines - anything. If I want something custom made, Ross will take a sketch or inspiration photo and measurements, get us an estimate, and approximately 4 or 5 months later the items arrives - Perfect and fits in the house as expected. Have always found Ross to be courteous, friendly, patient. He is not pushy. He gives us space to walk around and look around and think. I really appreciate that. Have found the products to be beautifully made, durable, and perfect! My home has Delusions of Grandeur items from the foyer to the basement to the upper level. It is wonderful in a town like Ottawa to find a breath of beautiful fresh air in decor options. The choices in this town can be limited: when I am looking for a statement piece or a piece that is unique. Glad we have Ross and his store. Delusions of Grandeur is perfect.”
