“Regarding work done on a 1995 Miata:
Persistent water leak .
After (literally), 4 plus weeks, Dan finally found the leak(s) . Tested and thus far no issues.
Received an early quote , but the work took considerably longer than expected.
The initial price was reasonable and that price was honoured after the work was completed.
Given the hours put into this , was expecting to pay more!
Hats off to Dan, Dean, the rest of the shop crew and front desk staff, who I had the pleasure to talk to throughout. Dan took the the time to explain the ongoing developments and showed me the issues and difficulties first hand.

“I needed a rebuilt altenator for my Aveo 5. After searching different places, around town an online. was able to get one at an amazing price. Sadly, I had a problem with the rebuilt. The owner did everything to rebuild the one I purchased, but it was no good. So the owner gave me a brand new altenator in the box for the same price as the rebuilt one leaving him out of pocket to himself, and he told me there was no extra cost to me. Customer service was well above any I had at other places. Friendly... polite ...a pleasure to deal with and went out of his way to satisfy me as a customer, and he did by far. I will be buying any future auto parts from J & M Desas Expert for all my automotive needs in the future aswell as refer them to my friends and family...

I ended up driving across Ottawa and was helped instantly by him. He had 50+ keys that he tried on my roof rack until we got a match.
