“I took my 2012 Q5 Audi in to diagnose recurring low oil pressure and engine oil indicator lights around December 2025. It was suggested I try a NAPA Autopro location by family as I was struggling to find an answer to this issue. Without fail J&D were able to provide me with a detailed explanation of the issue; valve cloaking. FINALLY! An answer to an issue that no other mechanic was able to pinpoint. Even more importantly, I was given a detailed explanation of what it was, how to fix it (they were transparent about the fact that this was not their area of expertise) and potential costs from their experience. Not only did I feel validated, I also felt like I was truly understood and taken seriously. Thank you so much to Serge for your thorough assessment and patience in helping me figure out this issue. I'll be coming back to the shop from now on for everything and anything relating to my car. I trust your judgment and felt well taken care of. Thank you again!”

They noticed the oil was low, topped it up free of charge, and even took extra time to look under the car to double-check everything. Service like this is rare. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a trustworthy mechanic.”
“I have just been to Eagle Automotive for the first time, on the advice of a number of my neighbours. My 2013 Outback is beginning to require more and more work, and I just want to keep it on the road a little longer. I really liked the garage I had been going to, and after I brought the car in making all kinds of noise, they (rightly) advised me against doing a very expensive exhaust replacement on this older vehicle. However, they didn't offer me any options and I was horrified about having to scrap the car. Enter Eagle Automotive. Vilbert showed me exactly what was wrong with the exhaust (a broken flex joint - not a problem with catalytic converters or muffler) and why replacement would be so expensive, but he also offered me a safe solution that was more appropriate for the age of the car. I was thrilled. He let me ask him some questions and decide for myself how to proceed based on the info he gave me. The car is now working with a fully functional exhaust system, and the repair cost me a fraction of what the replacement would have cost. No disrespect to my previous garage, but Eagle gets my loyalty now.”

“Scott and Chris are very knowledgeable and honest. They are land rover jaguar specialized mechanics. I was looking for a land rover/range rover specialized mechanic after my warranty ended and after a horrible experience at a local dealership. After a phone call with them it is very evident that they were very experienced with the make and model of my car. Chris was very accommodating as I was able to bring the car in early before my appointment date and was flexible with pick up time. They were able to work within my budget and got everything that was required fixed. Very timely, quality work, reasonably priced, photos of issues were provided so you can be assured they are not trying to get you to fix something that is not required. I have not had to bring my car back here for something that was supposed to be fixed a second time which is also reassuring. Being a girl and having to deal with car issues can be daunting and intimidating and I felt comfortable and well taken care of here. Thanks guys.”

“For anyone in Ottawa looking for a talented and honest mechanic with reasonable prices, I wanted to share my great experience with Mike Galazka and his assistant Martha on Main Street in Old Ottawa East. Martha was able to give me a timely appointment for my provincial safety inspection (I passed!), and was also able to order the impossible to find snow tires I wanted which Mike's team installed yesterday when he did the inspection. Today my car started to randomly make some awful and worrisome sounds. So I called Martha and she told me to bring it back and they'd figure it out. Mike, who I'm sure is always busy, dropped what he was doing to take it out for a test drive, put it up on the lift, and then take it for another drive. Turned out to most likely be a rock that got in somewhere, somehow and then fell back out, because the sounds stopped. One of life's little mysteries, I guess. But the point of the story is that they spent time looking into a problem for me, someone they had no prior relationship with, time spent that didn't generate any revenue for them, but which turned me into a customer for life. Thanks, Mike and Martha. You guys are the best!”

I called in the morning to set up an appointment for my brakes and they took me in and had my car ready by 4pm the same day even though i was originally told they wouldn't be able to complete the work the same day. They even called to ask if I wanted an oil change that I was overdue for. Everyone I spoke with was extremely friendly and welcoming. Huge thanks to everybody at the shop. Definitely recommend!”
