“The guys at Enterprise Alta Vista in Ottawa were extremely pleasant to work with. I’m in fact a regular at this location.
They made sure my reservation was ready on time.
The car they gave me was extremely new and well kept. In fact, they gave me a high end 2026 vehicle.
Service was immaculate from start to finish, always with a smile on their face.
Drop off was simple and friendly.
They truly went out of their way to do right by the customer and make sure I felt taken care off. They even asked me about my trip and wished me a happy birthday.

“? EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE AND STAFF ?
Our recent car rental experience with Thrifty in Ottawa was exceptionally positive, primarily due to the outstanding staff. From the initial pick-up to the final return, the entire team, particularly Barzin, were friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient. The process of signing out and returning the vehicle was quick and we encountered absolutely no issues with the rental car itself. It was a smooth and hassle-free transaction from start to finish.
⚠️ RECOMMENDATION FOR SIGNAGE ⚠️
The only area where we encountered difficulty was locating the designated return spot for the vehicle. There were NO visible signs displayed indicating where Thrifty car rentals should be returned. We ultimately had to ask staff for assistance, and found the location was tucked away at the far end of the parking lot. Adding clear, visible signage would greatly facilitate the return process for all customers and eliminate unnecessary confusion and searching.
➡️ WOULD RENT AGAIN
Despite the minor confusion with the return location, the excellent customer service and efficiency of the staff means we would absolutely use this car rental agency again for future needs.
? SUMMARY ?
Thrifty Ottawa provided a professional and efficient car rental service with friendly staff (with special thanks to Barzin). The entire process was smooth with no vehicle issues. The only point of improvement is adding clear signage to make the car return location (currently at the far end of the lot) easier to find, facilitating a faster turnover process. Thank you Thrifty!
