“Wow! I cannot recommend this place enough. My shops glass door had been broken into and I was super stressed out calling around many places getting the run around and absurd 4 figure quotes etc. As soon as I called Albion glass I was at ease. I felt very taken care of by Tony and told a quote that was less than a quarter of the cost we were originally going to go with. And once the guys came and did the glass it turned out to be $70 LESS THAN THE QUOTE! That never happens! Thank you so much Tony! If you need any kind of glasswork I HIGHLY recommend this company. :))”

“I never knew my life needed Italian sheets and Canadian feather/down pillows until I discovered Suite Dreams Home Emporium.
Backstory: I moved into a furnished apartment so I was looking for cheap sheets. I found a cotton/bamboo sheet set at the Salvation Army for $6. Winning!
Then I found SDHE and there was a world of bed linens, pillows, and duvets I never knew was possible. There are hundreds of sheet samples, and dozens of pillows and duvets to choose from. I ended up buying sheets and pillows by an Ottawa supplier called Cuddle Down. The sheets are a “jacquard weave” which has a near imperceptible texture that feels so deliciously subtle and massage-y.
*Warning: there’s lots to buy in the store, but mostly they will order the sheets for you which takes a week or over a month (some sheets come from Italy or Portugal). Also, all sales are final so measure your mattress depth? but they also let you take the samples home so you can see how it looks).

Despite the fact that we couldn’t visit the store in person due to Covid restrictions, Adam was very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable on the product that would be best suited for our home. Adam answered our numerous questions through email and phone, and made sure we had everything we required for installation. We made a mistake in measuring our space and originally purchased a fireplace that was one size too big. We contacted Adam and he exchanged our fireplace for a smaller unit with no questions asked, he even personally delivered the fireplace to our home.As well, we had completed a lot of research on suppliers and pricing in the area for gas fireplaces and Burning Log had the best prices by far.Overall, we’re happy with our purchase, the customer service we received, and would definitely recommended Burning Log to anyone looking to purchase a fireplace for their home.”

“I went to the store on two separate occasions and on both occasions I had a wonderful experience. The person who made my experience wonderful was the clerk was working on both occasions. She was a beautiful dark skin thin young lady… I’m really sorry I forgot your name! I am from Ottawa and when I travel I always buy gifts there to bring to my friends are abroad. The first time I bought smoked salmon in a wooden box with Inuit art on it. The second time I bought two bottles of large maple syrup with some maple butter. The young lady who’s served me was so pleasant and patient with me. She even googled for me if it was allowed to bring smoked salmon on a plane. She made pleasant conversation with me and when I bought the maple syrup she went through the effort of wrapping them carefully so they don’t break when I put them in my luggage. The store is beautiful. They have amazing beautiful souvenirs and artwork. There is another store downstairs not affiliated to them but just not as good. I did compare the prices and although this store is much more high end,the prices are much better. Not to mention they have way better things. More creative and beautiful things. I was looking everywhere in Ottawa for the smoked salmon with the Inuit art on the box. I was very stunned when I found it at the store but pleasantly surprised. To the young lady working at the counter again I am sorry I forgot your name but you are amazing. From now on I know where to go to buy my souvenirs from Ottawa.”

The in-store team is always helpful when you’re spontaneously browsing or just window shopping. Evan helped me out with an issue I was facing and was able to go above & beyond, and solve it!
Those responsible for order picking do a great job to have your pickup orders ready to go well within 24 hours, often sooner than you thought! Things happen & sometimes things takes longer than that you’re used to but I’ve never had to wait close to 24 hours. The workers are working hard here, don’t give them too much hell for issues out of their control!
Their app and website is very useful for knowing when things you’re eyeing go on sale and they have a rewards program which is always fun when you’re spending your hard earned money on mostly quality clothing!”

The shipping can take a long time (it took a bit more than 6 weeks for me), but the wait is worth it.
