  The grooming team here sucks. Not nice people, always a problem. This is specific to this barrhaven location. Very bad customer service, crap attitude. Bring your business somewhere they’re happy to get it. The owners here must be looking to go bankrupt with the team they have here.

  Newly renovated grooming salon is great. The manager Laura provided excellent service and I highly recommend Petsmart grooming.

  Very unhappy with PetSmart Barrhaven (Marketplace).
  I had a terrible experience with their grooming team — specifically Laura and Timothy. Highly incompetent, extremely ego-driven, and honestly incapable of handling even a small Shih Tzu.
  
  They have been charging me an extra $24 “handling fee” every time, claiming my dog “doesn’t stand.” If you cannot handle a small, gentle Shih Tzu, how are you even working in a grooming section? And if you make a dog stand for long periods, of course he’ll want to sit — that’s basic common sense. They blocked my dog solely for this reason, can you imagine.
  
  Their attitude is incredibly rude, and I genuinely feel that PetSmart no longer cares about customer service. It feels like they’ve become a monopoly and just don’t value customers the way they should.
  
  I truly hope no one else goes through this.
  Even if you need to drive a bit farther, please do — but avoid this PetSmart.

  Staff member at front cash is very rude and condescending. She makes offhand underhanded remarks and is just generally very uncomfortable to deal with. I won’t be going back.

  I had an appointment today to get a haircut and shower for my Australian shepherd and I gave them a call to let them know that I will be late for 5 minutes only she told me your appointment should take 3 hours to get the haircut and shower you should re-booked your appointment i told her please it's only 5 minutes and I don't have time, after that she accepted him and after one hour she gave me a call and told me he is ready for pickup in 10 minutes when I arrived i didn't like the haircut. As I felt it was rushed, So overall it was a very bad experience with them.

  Mean lady kicked out me and my buddy for mishearing us. Cats are hidden in the back away from customers. This is not at any other petsmart. This location does not fit petsmart standers, and I recommend you go somewhere else.

  I usually take my tiny yorkie to be groomed at this Petsmart..never again. The groomer was one I had never used before and completely disregarded what I wanted and my yorkie had all his facial hair cut off..his explanation was he was too matted. Not true. In addition he was so traumatized he didn't eat for 2 days and was very nervous. I really wish the groomer had said he wasn't skilled at a doing a yorkie cut..I would have rescheduled with one of the other groomers who had worked on my dog before.

  Riley is amazing. He was so helpful with our bearded dragon questions. He even went to get me a cart. He went above and beyond.
  The manager at this store is also great.
