“I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake from the Piggy Market as I was looking for a nut free bakery and haven’t liked other bakeries. The whole family loooooved our vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream from the Piggy Market! It was very moist, with lots of rich buttery decadent icing! I would definitely order from them again and highly recommend. As well, the price was incredibly reasonable.”

“Healthy Planet - Kanata is a great spot for anyone looking for a wide variety of vitamins, supplements, health foods, and specialty grocery items. The store is well-organized with a good selection of products that you don’t always find at regular grocery stores, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices and sales make it a solid choice for wellness shopping around Kanata. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that occasionally some products are out of stock, and on a couple of visits it took a bit longer than expected to find exactly what I was looking for. But overall it’s a positive experience and worth a visit for health-conscious shoppers!”

“The restaurant did not cook the food. If you look at the reviews, they say they serve Jjajangmyeon and Jjambbong, but they don't do that anymore. Kimbap and kimchi were delicious and cheap. It was okay and I parked in front of the store for a while and made a purchase.”

I honestly hesitated before ordering, but Faten, the manager in charge of catering, encouraged me and assured me everything would be perfect. I trusted her and she went above and beyond. She truly kept every promise she made, and even more.
The Christmas Eve dinner touched our hearts. The food was incredibly fresh, delicious, and so generous that we ate for two days. Every single guest was happy and kept asking where the food was from, especially the turkey, salmon fillet, and the gigot.
The bûche de Noël that came free with the packages was such a beautiful surprise. We received two (vanilla and chocolate), and I honestly can’t describe how silky and delicious they were.
Thank you from the heart to Faten and the entire Njeim Middle East team for making our celebration so special. Wishing you a year filled with health, happiness, and abundance just like the joy your food brings to people.”

“Easy walk, fresh food, and great discounts if the food is not quite in your budget. Friendly and efficient cashiers. 3-4 cash express which I almost never need to use. At 11:30-12:30pm, it tends to be packed; in my experience especially on Wednesdays and Thursdays. 50% items are always in good shape if I get them; good way to try stuff you're unsure about. Many prices for things I buy I find are just a few quarters off of what you'd pay at Walmart or Food Basics. However, it is not a one stop shop like the aforementioned. Forks and spoons on your way out.”

“This place is a local gem. I heard Kaz Kitchen had changed ownership recently and decided to check it out since it has been a few months of disappointment with what was in the shelves. The new owner was so kind and immediately wanted to know what I was looking for and promised to stock it up for me. A couple days later, she had gotten exactly what I was looking for, and she's kept it in stock since! Not to mention the meat pies and lasagnas and desserts she makes! I always make sure to get a lunch or snack while there. Excellent cornerstore for Guigues Avenue.”

That said, I haven't come across certain specific ingredients there, such as taro leaves, momo wrapper, etc.”

“This store is amazing! Great selection of everything including really good vegan cheeses from Greece. All of their prepared salads are 10/10 ( have tried them all but really love the lentil one, the mixed bean and pasta).
Their inhouse bakery is stellar!! The spinach and meat fatayer are the best i have ever has and I try them everywhere. Pastries and cookies are delicious. Hats off to the cooks and bakers!!”
