The Real Canadian Superstore on Richmond Road is a large, well-stocked supermarket where customers can find almost everything they need. The shelves are typically full with a wide selection, and employees are quick to refill items. Many staff members are noted for being very kind, helpful, and cheerful, with specific praise for excellent service at the deli counter. Prices are generally reasonable with good deals, though they and the quality of produce, including specific items like pizza buns, are reported to fluctuate. The store is extremely busy, with a remarkable volume of sales that can lead to a chaotic atmosphere during peak hours, making off-peak shopping more enjoyable. A significant and longstanding frustration is the store's layout and infrastructure. The entrance and exit are poorly designed, described as horribly jammed and inefficient, combining into one pathway through the produce section. The addition of electric vehicle chargers in prime parking spots near this entrance has added to the frustration, as many find their placement impractical. Despite these persistent issues with the facility's design and occasional problems with product quality, the store's vast inventory and helpful staff keep customers returning.
I don't usually come here, it has basically everything. Prices are kind of high. If you come here in the evening, Gareth is the best cashier I've ever met. He's made my night everytime I've seen him. I'll wait in line just to check out with him. Always leave with a smile after chatting with him. Thanks Gareth!!
