My recent visit to Running Room was a really pleasant surprise, especially considering my initial worries as a mid/plus-size person. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm and welcoming, which was a nice change from some other athletic stores I've been to. What stood out the most was how inclusive the atmosphere was. When I mentioned how much I appreciated the great customer service, especially as someone with a larger body type, they replied, 'Fitness comes in all shapes and sizes.' That really stuck with me and made me feel genuinely welcome.
I also wanted to try out the Hoka Bondi 8, and the staff were super helpful. They not only helped me find the right pair but also took the time to explain the features of the shoe so I could make a good choice. They made ordering the specific colorway I wanted really easy too.
I'm definitely going back to Running Room for all my future athletic needs. Their awesome service and focus on inclusivity have made me a loyal customer. Highly recommended!

Extremely knowledgeable staff. Was able to help me find the best shoe for support of my flat feet.
Sales associate could tell what type of stride and common issues I had just from looking at my old pair of runners I brought in.
No pressure to buy. Great knowledge and answered all my questions.

The Running Room on Slater St has excellent customer service!! When you walk in they are ready to greet you and assist you. The first time I went there I got a fitted by the gentleman that works there. The fitting taught me that I require shoes with more stability. He quickly provided shoe options that will provide that stability. The second visit I had was to replace my old shoes as I wore them to the ground. The same gentleman was wonderful and very informative and helped me choose another stability shoe. Fair to say, I will always go to the Running Room for running shoes as they makes shoe shopping so much easier! ☺️

Sales staff was extremely helpful and patient in finding a pair of comfortable shoes for me. The salesperson seemed to knowledgeable and gave advice on which pair of shoes would be best for my unique fit.

Had a very pleasant experience with the staff. The nice lady helped me pick out a running shoe, made recommendations to me as a new runner, let me know what to look for when it’s time to replace the shoes. She was very kind and knowledgeable.

The man helping me today was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I didn't get a pair of shoes today as I am very indecisive, but learnt a lot about what to look for in a good pair of shoes for me.
