While the facility is beautiful and eye-catching, some visitors noted a lack of seating in open areas, particularly on the first and second levels. Access from the mall can be confusing due to poor signage. However, the venue is praised for its excellent service and food, making it a premier choice for events. The Shaw Centre is conveniently located near the Westin Hotel and the Rideau Centre for shopping. Many attendees have enjoyed spacious events, such as the Heating up the Capital hot sauce festival, appreciating the polite staff and comfortable air conditioning, despite some concerns over beverage pricing. Overall, the Shaw Centre offers a remarkable setting for gatherings, recognized as the World’s Best Convention Centre in 2020.
Beautiful event space, the panoramic windows have a fantastic view of some of Ottawa's most iconic architecture.
The staff is also wonderful, highly recommend working with them for events big or small.

It was great you can enter thru the mall. The redeo canal is right beside it. The parliamentary building is just a couple of blocks from it. Stayed at the Marriott courtyard and that was two blocks from arena.

If you have plans about Job Fair in Rogers Centre 😁 be ready to be disappointed. A few colleges and Army Team represented themselves there. Not much chances.
