“It was very quiet on a cold winter day when we were visiting. No vendors were located outside of the market itself, so quite contrary to what I expected, but we still loved it. Plenty of street parking too. We toured the market itself, found clean bathrooms on the second floor with some art displayed, ate some bakery goods @ Le Moulin De Provence bakery and took photos with Ottawa sign.”

“I clean the store so despite it being pricing night for the week it went well. They have extra staff on the floor for the sticker replacement, hence more obstacles to go around...and more stickers that fall off... As well. Like said though over all it went well!”

“Great locations for multiple services like groceries, consumption of recreational drug and alcohol or simply for banking or personal care. You can even grab a bite!
I often stop by as it is right of the highway when travelling from east to west or vice-versa.”

“This was a total surprise, this was the first time in several years I had been there. A wide range of quality shops like Champs, Rikkis and all the cell phone providers.

The mall was clean and very nicely renovated. It was a pleasant surprise.

My son and I stopped into DB's in the food court and enjoyed a poutine and a hotdog.

Overall excellent experience at Spirit Halloween and the mall.”

“Trainyards is a one-stop strip-mall type of area. With a walmart, LCBO, farmboy and tons of other homegoods and clothing shops, you can spend an entire day here and get everything you need”

“Nice vaitery of stores you will find there, each is great especially the Walmart, and there is a OC transpo station next to it which heads to YOW and Hurdman and Billings etc”

“Centrum... Visit some stores, grab a bite and see a movie. There is also the Kanata Farmers Market, on Saturdays. That being said; many of the shop locations are vacant. Why would you shop here when Tangers Outlets is but 5 minutes down the road?”

“LCBO, Beer Store, Shoppers, Bulk Barn. Harvey's and Swiss Chalet. Great One stop shopping. The TD Bank usually has a Huge line outside since COVID-19. Carlingwood Shopping Center right across the street. U can park once and get absolutely anything u need.”

“For a small, older strip mall, this one is well set with ample parking and choice vendors. Choice for me anyway. If (and when) I fail to curb fast-food cravings, BK does it for me and the only one for miles lives here. The optometrist I go to (EyeDocs) is here. Scotia bank is too. They also have a Royal Oak pub.”

“Although this mall is connected to O-train and bus station of St Laurent, I didn't see many strangers as Rideau. They have security personnels at the mall and best part! Bathroom was clean. At least better than many other malls here in town”

“Ottawa should look to here for a “general” model for all future commercial, retail and residential apartment buildings…. Specifically the focusing on prioritizing the strong simplistic minimalism that is obvious both internally and externally. I remember as a kid begging my dad to go down the streets with the big blue shiny “mirror” work buildings……. It wasn’t until I was a teen that I was disappointed once I realized what seemed larger than life as a child was actually only a street…… and a few half streets.
Instead of putting millions upon millions (for now) into random graffiti (which I do appreciate ?…… let’s make a BILaw for everyone in Ottawa who either renovates or builds new has to follow this glass exterior… and Reno’s of homes and duplex’s use a muted blue/grey shingles!!!! Just like ? we could start looking like a capital city again!!!!
So yep 5 stars———————— shallowly won on appearance ;)”

“I adore this shopping mall being right next to the oc train and has all my go-tos for Christmas shopping! Anything you could be missing from all price ranges is probably here”

“Ended up getting to Walmart once the mall closed for the evening. having common sense is always refreshing because knowing there was an alternate entrance I walked around and found they were indeed open. Got what I needed. Security and protocol has changed drastically in the regard of needing to make 3 purchases before I left and was investigated upon my departure from the cashier employees was a little annoying. Presented my receipts before they acknowledged me and scrutinized my purchases however a manager cleared me and left. Was as expected and wasn’t harassed so 4 stars.”

“It is home of the beloved the burgers priest. Now that's my burger. Best fries around and give the sauce on the burger a shot. It holds the whole burger together.”

“This place is always hopping and the food is great. One section is the store whereas you can buy various fish and/or supplies for cooking. Meaning, frozen goods, spices, spreads etc. then you have the restaurant always busy. Food always fresh and. A good selection of whites especially from New Zealand. Great place to meet up with friends or family. Must try”

“CF Rideau Centre has always felt like Ottawa’s flagship shopping mall — busy, central, and connected to so much of the city’s daily movement. I’ve been here many times over the years, and it’s consistently been a reliable stop whether for shopping, grabbing food, or just passing through.

Its location makes it one of the main transit hubs in the city, with buses and the LRT bringing people in and out all day. That constant flow gives the mall a lively energy, but it still manages to stay organized and easy to navigate.

I’ve always had a few favourite shops here — Apple, Canada Goose, and Harry Rosen — places I’ve stopped by often and enjoyed over the years. They’ve become part of the routine whenever I’m downtown.

A major landmark in Ottawa’s shopping scene, and a place I’ve returned to many times with consistently good experiences.”

“It's a standard strip mall, with a grocery store, a pet store, a small pharmacy, some other stores you'd expect. People are nice though.
Some more restaurants have been added”

“We arrived there at 2:15 pm but they said that they close the buffet at 1:45 pm. They offered an alternative to have sandwiches or salads. I tried the salad which was about 7.5CAD quite expensive for a salad but it was delicious and the box was full. I ll try to visit again to catch the buffet before it closes.”

“Went to look at furniture. Were lucky to arrive on the last day of a store wide sale. Had a fabulous salesperson (Victor) who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in allowing us to take our time, change our minds several times, and finally decide what we wanted. Victor is simply excellent. Look him up if your in this store looking for furniture.”
