SmartCentres Ottawa South is a vast mall and big plaza with many shopping and entertainment options. It has many famous brands such as Walmart, Loblaws, Winners, Homesense, a couple banks, restaurants, and an older movie theatre. It certainly has everything and the prices are great. The area is not pedestrian friendly, as it is a long area to cover on foot and wide open to the elements. The parking lot can be confusing and frustrating, with not many exits, and it can get crowded fast. Checking out can be a chaotic nightmare. The area is known to have a criminal element and can be quite dangerous, so it is advised to avoid late night visits and always stay alert.

Good shopping experience overall. Road and garbage areas not well maintained including parking lot. Often very busy.

Went to Walmart but didn't find what I was looking for.....Went to leave and the line up for the cash was crazy.....I felt like leaving everything there and leaving
