First time visiting the mall, Thursday, February 26th around 12:30pm and wanted to share my experience regarding the sanitary dispensers in the upstairs women’s washroom by Reitmans. Unfortunately, both dispensers for pads and tampons were not accepting quarters, and I inadvertently put my quarter in the napkin dispenser because the slot for change was empty, just to realize it was also broken. The crank wouldn’t fully turn to accept the change.

When I asked for assistance, the custodian informed me that she didn't have the key for the dispenser and suggested I contact security in the food court for help. I wasn’t about to go back down there after going there first to use the washrooms just to see the billboard saying they’re closed and to use the ones upstairs by Reitmans.

I believe it is essential for facilities like these to be operational, especially for visitors who may be in urgent need. It was disheartening to leave without the item I needed as well as my change, as the machine wouldn’t release it back to me. A simple sign indicating that the dispensers were out of order could have prevented this uncomfortable and very embarrassing situation.

Forwarding the concern to the appropriate departments and hope the issue will be addressed promptly. No one else should have to experience the same frustration.”
