“We recently used pickering event centre for a business training meeting. We had a great experience! Although we booked pretty last minute, they were able to come through and make the event happen. The lobby was sufficient enough for the small group we had, and suited our needs. The presentation on the sandwich station we had was awesome and the food was great. It was easy to book and they were very accommodating. Would not hesitate to book another event there! Thanks again.”

“I try to make it a point never to give a perfect score on reviews, because there's always something that can be improved. Notwithstanding, this recreation center deserves 5 stars, because the one thing that raises them above everything is the staff. They're everything that I would want in a staff, if I was managing the place. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, etc...They have the facilities to offer anyone who is interested in working out, keeping fit, timing, you name it. I mainly use the pool, because it's large enough to accommodate many people, without feeling crowded. The majority of people who use the pool are pleasant and well mannered. Occasionally, there's someone who misbehaves, but the staff deal with them appropriately. Nevertheless, it's superior to most of the pools in Toronto.If you enjoy skating, they have arenas there too. You can even watch the hockey games, which can be fun too.As with all public facilities, it is what the community makes of it. If you treat everyone with kindness, you're bound to enjoy yourselves. If you bring an attitude, you're just going to ruin it for everyone, including yourselves. So, check your ego and attitude at the door.This is a great place for family fun.
