“Held our wedding reception there; at the smaller space called Cinderella's Cottage. From initial meeting to booking the venue; selection of menu; organization of dinner, bar and desserts on the day of - everything was fantastic. Zero issues. The grounds were the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. Great location, lots of parking. Books up far in advance.
The larger venue space was a very different theme and design so great to have choices. Drive by very often and always brings up wonderful memories and makes me smile”
“A night full of laughter, great memories and delicious food. We had my sister’s bachelorette party tonight and Cucinato was the perfect venue. The place was located in the basement with a cozy and rustic vibe. Chef Cosmo and Maggie were fun, personable, and great company! Our menu was clam pasta, braised duck, brussel sprouts and tiramisu. It was fun to help prepare our meals and get cooking tips from the chef. But be prepared for a long night as cooking can take about 2 hours before the meal is ready. If you’re looking for a fun and relaxing event with your group, then this is the place!”
“Our daughter got married at the Great Hall this past winter. It was a magical event made all the better by the incredible venue. We were able to accommodate a medium sized guest list from wedding vows through cocktails to dinner and dancing. Having access to the 3 distinct spaces enabled a smooth flow and great tone for each of the phases, by reducing and virtually eliminating any disruption from setup and take down of the various different phases of the wedding.
And not only is the venue beautiful at night, but the venue is well suited to decoration and addition of accent lighting to further amplify the scene. the upper floor cocktail space and balcony provided a cozy environment for guests with incredible views of the dinner setting on the main floor. For the dinner and late night dancing, having an elevated stage for the band was fabulous.
Additionally, working with the staff was easy as all were friendly, and the list of preferred vendors who were familiar with the space made coordination easy. In the end we have many incredible memories, and an unbelievable collection of photo’s from that night thanks to the incredible backdrop provided by the venue and staff!”

“I had never been here so I came here on Valentine's day with my girlfriend. Yes it was a bit chilly, but there were very few people around, and it was so peaceful and quiet, looking out over the water with the ice on it. Truly lovely location. Would love to come back again when the weather is warmer, even though I would imagine it would be much busier with a lot more people. Overall, a lovely experience.”
“Cool little music venue with a great bar and drinks menu. Sound system is excellent! However, due to the small size of the venue, seating is very limited, and the wooden stools do get uncomfortable after a while. This was the only drawback to an otherwise decent experience for live music all around, which was worth it.”
“Beautiful space where my sister hosted her wedding. The wood interior and natural sunlight illuminates the space, making it a warm, bright environment. I believe this place was a Zen Buddhist temple in a previous life and that calming atmosphere persists today.”

“What a wonderful coworking place! So friendly and comfy and welcoming. They always have interesting events going on. They try to get people to interact through regular programming like their Tuesday lunchtime salad bar potluck. Again, community driven. Everyone seems to pitch in to clean up after themselves and be respectful and friendly. Lots of open space but also offices for meetings and calls. It’s the place to be if you’re working on social purpose projects.”

Working with Rish throughout the planning process was such a pleasure. They were easy to communicate with, accommodating, and made everything leading up to the wedding feel stress free. On the day of the wedding, Chris, Rish, and the entire team were absolutely amazing. They were incredibly attentive, helpful, and made sure everything was taken care of behind the scenes so we could fully enjoy our day.
The hotel itself was also perfect for our wedding. The rooms were spacious and gave us plenty of room to get ready, which was especially nice with the wedding party. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and having everyone stay onsite made the whole experience so convenient.
We’re so grateful to the entire Hotel Ocho team for helping make our wedding day so special. We would highly recommend Hotel Ocho to anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate venue with an amazing team!”

“Very nice gym located at the heart of the University of Toronto, offering a multitude of activities, as well as tournaments and events their facilities on their own!
The Fitness Centre is very nice and has all types of machines and weights you would like to use, as well as a track field for running. Not to forget about their amazing Basketball court which is very nice, and has a Hardwood flooring, nice for some pickup basketball or personal practice!
Would be great to see the nets getting changed whenever they rip!

“Our group had an outstanding time at my bachlorette party here! We had to make a quick pivot due to the weather and Chef Pierre responded to our request right away and put the whole event together within 24 hours We knew immediately we would be in good hands and he guided us through the process the whole way. When the party started we were greated by a sign welcoming us and a charcuterie board and a signature cocktail and mocktail. We smoothly moved into our lesson - which was preparing an Italian menu - and we learned so much from Chef Pierre and his team. Then everything was beautifully plated and brought to us in a private dining experience. We could not be happier with our experience which was 100% better than our plan A. Highly recommend this experience as a group activity!”
