“I had my daughter’s 2nd birthday party here. Her and her friends LOVED it! It is actually the first time my daughter enjoyed herself at a play centre, maybe this one is more age appropriate for her since everything is shorter and they don’t have super huge jungle gyms/obstacle course like some other indoor playgrounds in Markham. I would say the max age would be 7 years old here. Older kids may be bored. We went for the 20 adults /20 kids package and it felt ok when everyone was spread out but it does get packed if everyone hovers around the food table. We booked it for 2.5 hours but it was definitely not enough! I would recommend at least 3-4 hours to not feel rushed and maximize play time. You also get the whole place to your party when you book! I really liked that.I really appreciated the staff who helped me set up the decor and coordinate the party including bringing out the food/cutting/distributing the cake. If only it was closer to home I would come all the time! It’s cute and not intimidating for younger kids.”

“One of my favourite venues in Toronto it small but mighty. Location is great on Dundas west with a late night bus line or a short walk to Parkdale. Great staff, good prices, excellent selections of drinks including non-alcoholic options like micro-brew IPAs, Kombucha, ginger beer and more. Small snacks like Jamaican patties and chips to fuel your night. The vibe is always on point and the sound system ?!! Techno, flamenco, reggae and more, there is something for everyone here. ?”

“We had an amazing experience hosting our wedding at Fantasy Farm. From the first time we reached out, Gus was very responsive and helpful, and we felt confident that our wedding would be in good hands. They promised that what we were quoted was what we would pay and they stuck to that. On the day of the wedding, Gus, Jeremy, and the team made the day flow seamlessly and we even had guests commenting on how great the service was. We felt that they really went above and beyond. The food was delicious and plentiful and they had no issues working with allergies/restrictions. The grounds were lovely even in the winter and the ballroom was spacious. We have no regrets about choosing Fantasy Farm and we will definitely recommend this venue in the future.”

“We had our organization retreat in this place. It is very spacious and lots of room if you need to have breakout groups. Close to Bathurst Subway Station which is a plus and there's also a close by bike station. There is a huge kitchen that you can use for food prep. They also have available audio visual and sound systems. Highly recommend for workshop and retreat venue.”

“What a wonderful coworking place! So friendly and comfy and welcoming. They always have interesting events going on. They try to get people to interact through regular programming like their Tuesday lunchtime salad bar potluck. Again, community driven. Everyone seems to pitch in to clean up after themselves and be respectful and friendly. Lots of open space but also offices for meetings and calls. It’s the place to be if you’re working on social purpose projects.”

“The owner has done an amazing job curating special one-of-a-kind pieces. A really nice range of things from jewelry, hats, clothing, sunglasses, candles, ceramic, stone and glass vases and dishes! “Had a great time at the Spring One of a Kind Show. I love this show because it is full of unique items that you won't find in a store. I love helping these online businesses. It's their way of getting exposure and letting people see and sample their goods. Spent about 5 hours walking the isles and spent too much money, but it was worth it. You need to go see it. The next one is in November.”

“I originally came here with a friend on September 18, 2023 for the Babymetal + Dethklok concert. What I loved about this venue was all the drink and snack options they have. They had a poutine stand and an ice cream truck here and getting to drink a slushy while waiting for the next band was great! There was a lot of room on the floor. So we didn't have to get worried about getting crushed in the pit. Enjoying the concert from a good distance was enjoyable. Not to mention, the atmosphere felt great and fresh since we were outside. So no need to worry about getting sweaty. Staff here were amazing too!The reason I'm giving this venue 4 stars instead of a full 5 is for two reasons: 1) There was surprisingly no more sand anymore? That really caught me off guard. Last time I went here there was sand. What happened to it? And 2) I'm not a fan of cashless venues. I personally feel that after the 2022 Rogers Communications outage, being completely cashless is not good since credit and debit cards are not going to work 100% of the time. I even had a problem ordering food at one point because the card reader didn't read my card at first and we had to take about 3 full minutes to fix the issue with the card reader. This caused a major line up for one of the food stands. It would be so much better if this venue had both cash and cards as acceptable forms of payment especially since paying in cash is much faster and less problematic. Oh well.Overall, besides a couple of minor issues, my friend and I had a great time here! I would love to come back if another band I liked preformed here!”

Sen and the BCC team did everything in their power to make our special day one to remember – and they definitely delivered!From meeting with us on our schedule countless times, pouring over every detail with us (food, décor, seating arrangements, event logistics and much more), giving us advice and vendor suggestions, Sen quickly became our go-to guy for our wedding planning.The result – our wedding went off without a hitch and people are still talking about it (more than 3 months later)! The décor was everything that we wanted – simple and elegant. Without us even knowing exactly what we wanted, Sen and his team pulled together a unique stage décor setup that was absolutely perfect. The event logistics were flawless – we didn’t have a wedding planner or day-of-coordinator, but the BCC team worked with our point-person to make sure everything was taken care of.And the food – as our wedding had a mix of cultures, we were a little hesitant about how the food would go over with all of our guests. But Sen personally assured us that his West Indian menu was top notch and that he would be able to accommodate something for our wide-array of guests. He absolutely delivered – so much so that our families are trying to think of what event we can host at BCC next just so that we can have more of the food!Needless to say, don’t underestimate this venue as just another banquet hall – the team (and Sen specifically) is amazing and treats you like family, they are personally invested in making sure your special day meets every expectation.
