There is usually a long wait time even when the line up isn’t very long. Today the branch rep didn’t tell me they were holding my deposit. This caused a lot of concern based on how the transaction shows online. Had to call online banking twice and speak to a manger to understand what happened and that my account wasn’t debited that it was how the hold was placed. A little communication could have saved a lot of worry and wasted time.

I can't say enough about the people who work at the Port Perry branch. The front staff are incredible at what they do. I have seen them endure many many staff shortages which in turn caused them to close unexpectedly a few times. But there are the same amazing faces still showing up with a great smile and attitude. Always willing to help and assist. Thank you for being here for us. Between the friendly staff and the cute setup for the community charity, it really brings the small town feel to a big time corporation.

Great branch overall. I've had a few interactions with Lori, and felt compelled to write after my experience today. Lori goes above and beyond in her role at this branch. Lori is very knowledgeable, practical, helpful, and patient. 5* customer service!!! Thanks for being amazing, Lori.

Branch Manager, Dave and the staff at this Branch have been incredibly helpful and supportive dealing with Estate issues. Even though I don’t personally bank at Scotia they have been so wonderful during this difficult time.

The last 3 times I showed up at this port perry location I have met with that sign that says closed when the web site says you are open, either close the place or open it with the hours that are on the website. Very frustrating. Friday July 21Randy

I've never had a good experience with this branch, the staff don't know what they're talking about, the ATMs never work correctly, just had to go to 3 to deposit a check and my god instead of enhancing your services you sell popcorn and snacks, it's a bank not a community center

Worst customer service I've experienced in 30 years of banking!!! Staff unwilling to help, give suggestions, or even any reasonable options to the issue at hand. I would give this location a zero star rating.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I deposited $500 cash and a cheque through the drive thru abm on Sunday afternoon. The bank machine said there was an error and to take my rejected items back, but failed to send out my “rejected” items. I got a receipt saying the deposit had failed and it gave a number to call. I spent over an hour on hold and being transferred. The person I last talked to advised I would have to contact the branch. So the next day, I called the branch’s #. And was automatically transferred to the call center . So I took time off work to go to the branch. I was told they didn’t have enough staff to check immediately and they would follow up with me via phone by the end of business the following day. The following day being TODAY. Well the business day is over. I have not received a phone call, and the money has not been deposited. So looks like I will be taking more time off work tomorrow to try to deal with this.

I changed to this bank because they're services were so much better than TD for students. They've been great. Only complaint is that there is only one ATM, I waited 15 minutes once just to get twenty bucks when the rest of the bank was closed.
