“I really like this location; the store has a great layout and it's easy to find your way around while browsing or looking for a specific item to buy. They carry less variety compared with other Hudson's Bay stores, but I believe it serves the purpose. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Abd there are many parking spots available in the Hillcrest Mall parking lot.”

“I had an excellent experience at this pharmacy recently. The pharmacy manager, June Quimbo, was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. Catherine, one of the pharmacy staff, did a fantastic job dispensing and blister-packing my parents' medications. The blister packs have made it so much easier for them to take their medications three times a day, even though there are many different tablets. I truly appreciate the care and attention we received and highly recommend this pharmacy for their professionalism and compassion.”

“Todd was helping me get wheels for my tires and was so so incredibly helpful and nice! Did everything he could to help me and truly went above and beyond ?

There was also a very rude customer yelling at him and Todd still had patience, grace and even apologized to me for overhearing the customers extremely rude attitude! Thank you again for the help!!!”

“There are stores you visit to buy things… and then there are stores that feel like a part of your life. This Walmart isn’t just a place I go to shop — it’s a place that’s been there for me when I needed a break from the noise of the world. It’s more than fluorescent lights and long aisles — it’s comfort, familiarity, and stability in a world that changes too fast.
The moment I walk through those sliding doors, there’s this strange peace that washes over me. The air-conditioning hits just right. The smell of the bakery floats through the air, and you see families pushing carts, people browsing quietly, workers stocking shelves with quiet dedication — and you realize there’s something deeply human about this place. It’s everyday life, done right.
There’s one employee in particular who stands out — a gentleman who always greets me at the door with a genuine smile, not the forced one you see in other stores. He’s got that look in his eyes that tells you he actually cares. He’s seen me come in on tough days, and he always finds a way to say something kind, even if it’s just “Hey, good to see you again.” You have no idea how much that means when you’re going through something. Sometimes that one simple moment changes the whole rhythm of your day.
One time, I came here after a rough week — everything was going wrong. School stress, business stress, just life in general. I didn’t even plan to buy anything big. I just walked the aisles. The calmness of the store, the way things were organized, the faint music playing through the speakers — it gave me time to breathe. I grabbed a drink, a pack of gum, and a small candle from the home section. That candle became something special. Every time I lit it, it reminded me that even in tough moments, there’s still light — just like this Walmart gave me that spark when I needed it.
The staff here deserve credit. They’re not just doing their jobs; they’re building something. You can tell by the way they help the elderly find what they need, the way they stay patient with long lines, and the way they keep the place spotless even on busy days. There’s pride here. You don’t see that everywhere.
The store itself feels like its own little world — rows of color, motion, and purpose. Whether it’s the grocery section with its crisp produce or the electronics aisle glowing like a promise of fun, it all feels intentional. It’s not just about products. It’s about giving people a place to belong for a moment.
I’ve learned that sometimes you don’t need a perfect life to feel okay — sometimes you just need a place like this Walmart. A place that stays open when you need it most. A place that welcomes you whether you’re buying groceries, looking for something small, or just walking off a bad day.
I leave here every time with a sense of calm, with gratitude that something so simple can be so meaningful. And I think that’s what makes this Walmart special — it’s not just a store. It’s a quiet reminder that no matter what’s going on in life, there’s always a door open, a friendly face waiting, and a place where you can breathe again.
Five stars — not just for the service, but for the heart behind it.”
