“I just wanted to publicly thank PHILIX TOWING YORK REGION for their help this morning . I was having a ruff morning rushing and I somehow accidentally locked my keys in my car . As I was waiting for CAA to come , a very nice man named Larry came out of no where to my rescue and within minutes he was able to get me access for me to go back into my vehicle . during the process he said to me call back CAA to cancel the service, and he also had me stay in his truck so that I can stay warm while he opened my car door. Wow…he was my true guardian angel this morning !!!!!! As, I was just about to pay him for his services he told me that he’s giving me an early Christmas gift and that I should pay it forward . Thank you so much Larry I appreciate you so so much and your kind gestures! We need more people like Larry . Imagine with the inflation prices and everything going up .. money wasn’t all to him and I’m sure he has a family he needs to provide for ????”

I'm writing to update my original review. The mechanic was very responsive and worked hard to get my car finished as soon as he could. The alignment was off when we went to pick it up but they promptly re-did it. Despite the long wait, I'm very satisfied with all the work that was done as it seems to have solved the major mechanical issues we were experiencing, and they were able to work within our budget, sourcing used parts where possible. Thank you!
I've been very disappointed with the service at this shop. My Rav4 has been in the shop for 32 days now, and despite numerous calls and messages, I have yet to receive an accurate response or any meaningful update on the status of my vehicle. Communication has been extremely poor, and I feel left in the dark. I expected better customer service and timely updates.

“I recently had my car repaired at MacGyver and was very satisfied with the service I received. Sandra and Tony are both very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the repair process in detail, which I greatly appreciated.
The repairs were completed in a timely manner and the quality of work was excellent. One thing to note is that the shop is located at the back of the plaza (right behind another body shop), so it might be a little tricky to find at first. However, once you get there, you’ll find that the service is well worth the effort.
