“Exceptional quality of products, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff, and an ethical food production business model that you can feel good about supporting. When my family and I moved to Guelph over a year ago, we had a hard time finding quality meats and eggs that were sourced ethically with no added antibiotics or growth hormones. Not only did we find this at Rowe’s, they also have a fantastic reward program with huge savings every week that has saved us so much money for such quality ingredients. The chicken specifically has such good quality it doesn’t taste like the typical chicken you’d buy in Canada, there’s no weird white goo when you cook it and it has real colour and texture in contrast to the monochromatic chalky paste you could get at any other grocery store. Additionally, our health has improved over the past year since we started paying closer attention to where we source our foods. As animal lovers and former vegans, we only wanted to buy meat and meat products if we could find a supplier that truly cares about the animals they serve and the quality of their lives. So thank you Rowe’s for being a business that truly cares about your clients health and well-being!!”

Well done!"I wanted to tell you all something incredibly heartwarming that happened at the No Frills on Harvard today… when I was checking out at the self check-out I noticed an elderly lady standing in front of the customer service desk crying… I asked her what was wrong and she told me she had locked her keys in her car and CAA was going to charge her $150+ to come out and get her keys out. She said she wasn’t able to afford that and didn’t know what to do. A few staff members had started to do a search of the store to see if she maybe lost them while shopping but nothing was found. I tried calling her son & her friends in the area to see if I could drop her off there as her son was at work an hour away & he was the only one with a spare key, but unfortunately, no one answered. After we exhausted all efforts and didn’t know what else to do, the Owner of the No Frills came by & she told him what was going on. He then said “no worries at all, we are going to take care of you!” He then directed one of his employees to call CAA and he said he will pay whatever the fee is for her! She started crying, I started to tear up and it was just such a generous & kind thing for him to do. I have never seen a stranger be so kind to someone like that before. He deserves so much recognition for this!! If you are ever questioning where you should do your grocery shopping, I HIGHLY recommend the No Frills on Harvard! "”

“Such an interesting convenience store! Never have I seen a store in Guelph that sells drinks that you normally never find in convenience stores (gfuel, different Mountain Dew flavours (my favourite), ghost energy, ryse, etc.). Service is alright, on par with a typical convenience store... You get in, pay, and get out. Lots of variety and flavours of snacks, and it's a relatively quiet place. It's open late which is wonderful.Brother loved this place too, prices aren't terrible, but of course some drinks like ghost are priced higher (5$) so be careful and check your prices. Other than that I think it's in a easy-to-access area and fairly priced. One of the best convenience stores in terms of stock in Guelph.”

“I'm so thankful to their staff! after a long 2 hr drive, we were crazy hungry and didn't realize the store closed at 9pm. (we arrived a couple minutes before 9pm). there were no announcements it was closing and no staff ever said anything when I walked around to find snacks. even at the cashier I asked when they closed and a manager said 10 mins ago but please take your time to shop. “Moderate sized grocery in the northwest end of Guelph. Needs an upgrade inside, but as always, pricing is comparative to other "off brand" grocers. Often out of stock on many of their promotional products but they offer a rain chq on the sale items should you feel the need to visit again.I've found that price shopping their best deals through "Flip" at a competitor works out best.Always room for improvement.”

I shop there a lot! Having the LCBO section is also convenient. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful!”
