“I was doing my first time grocery pick up and I had questions lol I had questions about substitutions and pick up and others as well. So I called the store after placing the order. I was greeted by Mike McLain, he was kind and knowledgable, answered all my questions and took the time to explain everything to me. He wanted me to feel comfortable ordering through the app and having it become a good experience. He answered all my questions and more. The store employee who brought my groceries out was kind and helpful. A very good experience and will definitely be using this again. It's fast efficient and plus when you are in a busy schedule. “Love going to the Bulk Barn during the holidays. I do alot of baking and find that they have things that are harder to find in other stores. The staff is very knowledgeable about the products and have no problem helping you find things.”
“Went to No Frills super early during holiday hours and had one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a grocery store all because of Ava. I did not even have a quarter for a cart and without a second thought she handed me one no awkwardness no hesitation just kindness.
Later on I could not find 3 percent homo milk anywhere on the shelf and another shopper was looking too. I asked Ava about it and she immediately went to check the back and came out with it for us. She was smiling friendly and genuinely great at her job the entire time. Everything she did felt natural and thoughtful not forced or scripted.
Ava seriously stood out. She made the whole shopping trip smoother and way more pleasant and that kind of service does not go unnoticed. No Frills is lucky to have her and employees like that deserve real recognition.

“This store has a tiny Caribbean section, but they occasionally get hard to find stuff actual Caribbean stores don’t which is a huge plus especially here in Guelph.”

“This grocery store is convenient, and I usually have a positive experience with friendly staff. I buy my basics here, including their delicious egg bread.
However, in the past month, a strong bleach odor has developed, especially near the meat section. While cleanliness is important, the scent is overpowering and has caused me to avoid that area. The store should review its cleaning procedures and bleach use to ensure safety and comfort for staff and customers.”

“Farm Boy Guelph is a really solid grocery store overall. The Farm Boy brand products are consistently good quality, and I really appreciate how clearly everything is labelled especially the vegan items.
They carry a great selection of vegan options, and I love the new vegan calamari it’s so good and on sale right now. We also always end up grabbing the fresh baked cookies.
The only downside is that they don’t have all the staple items, so you can’t fully rely on it for a complete grocery shop. It’s still one of my go to spots for quality and specialty items. Very vegan friendly”
“I love going here as I cook a lot, and can always find obscure ingredients not available elsewhere. I also appreciate the variety they have with produce. My two complaints are that the majority of produce is wrapped in plastic on plastic trays, and the labelling is not always good making it hard to figure out what things are. Apart from those two issues, it’s a very positive shopping experience.”
“For $149 I got some pretty basic needs and some things that I wanted as a treat. Some prices are a little questionable, but otherwise this store is pretty good for the things you might need to pick up.”

“Clean. Easy to find the products I wanted. Still don't care for the quarter for a cart scheme as I don't usually carry pocket change. Not enough cashiers forced to self checkout but attendant there was helpful. No waiting in self checkout line. Reasonably priced groceries. Could only find one brand of expensive bacon in one small bin. No alternatives like turkey bacon. Overall a pleasant shopping experience.”

“Why has it taken us this long to leave a review for such an incredible service?!!! We can’t say enough about Rowe Farms on Gordon St. A couple of times each week we pick up a roast chicken and the best steak you can find in town, we are always thrilled with the friendly, helpful service and the incredible quality. Our health and nutrition is of the utmost importance to us and we wouldn’t trust anyone else with our needs when it comes to ethically produced clean meats.
