“My experience was shocking he told me that he could fix it and the paint would match perfect I told him other bodyshops can’t guarantee that it would match unless I painted the whole car. I use original paint and parts that is why I guarantee my work 100 percent. I take total pride in my work it’s like working on my own car once inside my shop. Ok you got the job
From shocking to amazing he not only did a fantastic job that nobody can find the spot but he washed and cleaned my car inside and out great company and work
I felt obliged and appreciated it with job satisfaction and beautiful clean car
I wanted to pay extra but he said no stick to the deal and I am happy
The next day I went to Tim’s and brought coffee and doughnuts to the shop

Just wanted to give you an update. I drove 1,500 km over two days and made it home safely. I decided to follow my mechanic's advice and drive the van home as it was.
Once I got home, my mechanic replaced only the return power steering hose, and the power steering pump was completely fine.
The total repair cost was only $430, compared to the $2,500 (max) you estimated.
I appreciate your time and help, but I wanted to let you know how it turned out. It ended up being a much simpler and less expensive repair than expected.”

“I was surprised to see only 3 reviewers at this point (Dec 2019). They are all five stars but John and his wife have been around for years. He's got some top drawer clientele so being too busy for ratings may be the culprit. Your car will leave looking new anywhere you haven't damaged it yourself. This isn't your fast armorall joint, but a top to bottom major redo. Worth every penny. All the dealers and car show nuts use John before selling cars. Does Harley's in the winter as well.”

Work was done within 48 hours, when I was expecting several days. Labour shop rate is very competitive. Will be bringing my car back in the future 100%”

“My 1994 VW Eurovan broke down on Hwy 17, just outside Massey, ON. I had it towed 200 km to Algoma Auto Repair, basing my decision on the reviews I found online. (Not very many places are willing or able to look at older VW models).
They made time in their very busy schedule to look at my van, found the issue and fixed it quickly. I was then able to make the return trip to Southern Ontario (700 km) with no further issues. They contacted me afterwards to make sure I had made it home. It's not very often you find service of this kind!
I 100% recommend Algoma Auto Repair. Amazing, kind and very knowledgeable on the older VWs. The place to go to in Sault Ste Marie for your VW. Thank you!”

“Our minivan broke down just outside of Sault Ste. Marie during our cross-Canada road trip. A cylinder was misfiring. Had it towed to this shop and I’m so glad we did. They were able to diagnose the issue right away and replace the faulty fuel injector and all six spark plugs. We were back on the road again within hours. “I cannot recommend Frankie's enough! He fixed my husband's Camry (gas tank and muffler) for $360 after being quoted over 5K at another shop (for gas tank alone). I had an insurance claim for my Tahoe and chose him over the recommended shops as I trusted him...he did incredible work. My Tahoe looks brand new. He and his staff have a family feel....he makes you feel like a friend, not just the next in line. I will be a forever customer, although I hope to not have to return anytime soon lol.
