I would like to praise Taylor, a banker/teller at Scotiabank in Mountain Lock Plaza on Glendale Avenue, for her outstanding customer service skills. She demonstrated exceptional professionalism and excellence. Other employees of Scotiabank could benefit from following her example, as her customer service truly sets a high standard.

Very bad experience with stella he! I showed every document still she was confused just to increase my credit limit. I don’t know how she was calculating my salary. Do some maths guys!

I've banked with soctiabank for over 20 years and it seems the longer I stay, the worse I'm treated. I've never been treated with so much disrespect and rudeness from bank staff. The Glendale location in particular seem to have quite a rude collection of staff who don't seem to have any care about their customers and get quite snarky towards any issues we may have.
Being hassled and treated like a criminal while trying to deposit inheritance from a recently passed family member is not the way a bank should operate.
Cash deposits should not be put on hold when deposited directly with a teller.
9/10 my experiences with this branch end up frustrating, unsatisfied, and with me walking away with my situation unsolved more often than not.

I’d give zero stars if I could. Wow they are terrible here. 57 minutes of waiting for a 6 person line? And they’re back there just having a conversation with eachother instead of doing their jobs. Makes me want to switch banks.

I was at the Bank of Nova Scotia on November 19th, 2024 Glendale Ave.
The wait in line was an extremely long wait however this is nothing new. The BNS at the Fairview Mall is much, worse.
The experience I had with the teller at the Glendale Ave Branch was an unpleasant experience altogether. It was more than obvious the teller doesn't like her job or if she does like her job she was having a bad day. The teller was the most unfriendly and impatient teller that I have ever dealt with. I could go on and on but what difference will it make? It won't make any difference at all. In my opinion these surveys are a bunch of bologna. It's just to make it look like they care.This is my opinion. Have you ever noticed any improve with the line-ups? The answer is a hard No!

What a sad decline in customer service. 12 people in line, 1 teller, and one other employee trying to show a man how to use the debit machine. 18 minutes in line and still waiting. No one is at the service desk. Were entrusting our funds with a company who cant be bothered to staff its location. Id give it a 0 if i could.

Worse Bank I’ve ever been to for always having to stand in line with only two
Tellers When there is line up and there’s staff in the customer office make absolutely no effort to help you out if you been waiting for15 minutes customer service at this location is the poorest I’ve seen in any bank
If this keeps up I can see customers looking for another bank you need to have more tellers on pay days. Ten people in line and you only have 2 tellers. There is no reason why you can’t have people help out from offices when they are busy.
I don’t recommend this location.

I recently had an interaction with an employee at Scotia and was unfortunately met with a level of rudeness that was both surprising and disappointing. The staff member displayed a lack of professionalism, which included curt responses and an overall dismissive attitude. This behavior not only impacted my experience negatively but also contradicted the high standards I expect from Scotia. I hope that appropriate measures will be taken to address this issue, ensuring that future interactions are more respectful and courteous.

This is worst bank for standing in line for long periods of time. They Never have enough tellers!! When I question as to why I was told some are on vacation or that’s all we have

Worst branch ever. We moved here from Hamilton and I still refuse to transfer to this location. It’s the only branch that doesn’t allow you to deposit money / withdrawal after house and the drive threw NEVER works
