“This is our first time dealing with Chatterson's Furniture & Appliances. We decided to purchase through Chatterson's specifically because of Carrie Koch who runs the Appliance Department there. We had dealt with Carrie a number of times in the past when she was working for another Appliance Retailer and we followed her over to Chattersons because she is simply put AWESOME! Very knowledgeable, extremely helpful, outstanding follow-up, responds promptly, and great after sales service. If you're in the market for appliances, Chatersons has a great selection and well, Carrie Koch is there to help you. Keep up the great work, Carrie, we'll see you next build. Gary Scullion. Two familiar names now share one storefront. Bed Bath & Beyond and The Container Store opened their first co-branded location in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 16, and the concept is spreading to nearly two dozen stores in what the company calls phase one.
Bob's Discount Furniture is growing while its competitors shrink. The Manchester, Connecticut-based retailer reported strong fourth-quarter results in its first earnings call since going public in February, with revenue climbing 8.2% to $648.8 million. Full-year net revenue jumped 16.8% to $2.4 billion, and net income rose to $121.7 million from $87.9 million the prior year. CEO Bill Barton told analysts the company plans to open about 20 new stores in 2026 and sees a path to more than 500 locations by 2035, roughly two and a half times its current 209-store footprint across 26 states.
