“Concession Dollarama is great. They still have cashiers working at this location which is nice. Lots of selection. The store is clean. Lots of parking in the back.”

“Went with my toddler today and I had a box and bag of stuff and a bunch of balloons and Cheryl (I think her name was) asked if I wanted to bring my car over to load all my stuff so I didn't have to try and carry it all out myself with my 3 yr old.
And when I came over with my van, Cheryl was outside waiting with the cart of my stuff so i could just load my stuff in without taking my daughter out again.

“I was at the store in the Barton centre just this morning, I actually went to the plaza not intending to stop in there, but I had to go to two additional stores looking for an awkward shipping box to have a parcel mailed. I hit giant Tiger quickly because I needed three miscellaneous things and happened to see a girl stalking a shelf near the back. Completely unrelated and certainly not a store item, I asked the employee if they had any spare boxes, and I explained to her what the need was. She went back to the stockroom for quite a while, clearly taking time out of her day and came back with the box. Explaining she emptied out an old carpet box, but she knew would be perfect for what I needed. It’s the small gestures that means the world on a day that wasn’t going so great for me… Thank you very much to the employee Kim.”

“People complaining about their being a line for checkout mustve never been shopping before self checkouts, waiting a couple minutes in line (i have never waited more than 5min in line, even when its full of kids) is completely normal. My only complaint is the highschool nearby means this place is almost always full of rowdy teens, who throw shit, play with any toy not in a box, and completely block aisles. They do not have enough staff to keep someone constantly watching them and the store running”
