“Great customer service. I accidentally forgot to pick up the chicken and meat I purchased before Iftar. When I went back, the items were not there and no one had returned them. The next day the manager checked everywhere and even reviewed the cameras. Even though the items weren’t found, they kindly replaced the meat based on my receipt without charging me again. I really appreciate their honesty and kindness. Thank you!”

“Freshco grew on me - it was a slow burn - I realized after I moved as a “Costco & No-Frills” steady shopper but now super close to Freshco - this store is the perfect in between as it bridges, the gap between quality and price. It’s not the most expensive store and it’s not the cheapest, but it has qualities about the way they organize , and quality of products that I like, especially in meats and produce. I’m in !”

“What a great neighborhood convenience store! I have been coming here for the past 15 years, first as a summer time visitor to Burlington when I was visiting my sister and her family - then as a resident neighbor when I moved here 9 years ago. What amazed me was that even when just visiting in the summertime, the clerks would remember my kids and I by name. My son at some point asked about a certain soda pop and Sam went and started carrying the brand purely on his recommendation, as it then became a best-selling product for the store in multiple flavors. They always have the time for a quick chat with you and will always give you a friendly smile in return for your patronage. Highly recommended without a shadow of a doubt!! ?”

“Sam and Jaz are amazing. As well as the young ladies too. Everyone is very friendly. They always go out of their way to ensure that I don’t leave without questions. I knew Sam when he used to work over at Zellers and Chloe as well, before moving to Metro Pharmacy. Sad Chloe is gone, and has moved on up to another position.”

“I went in to buy buns so we can make Hamburgs for supper . I found name brand Hamburger buns then spotted other buns that were cheaper so I grabbed them instead .When I was paying the register said $3.79 or something not the price listed at point of sale so I complained telling the staff member the price was not the same as I seen so she changed it to $2.99 .”
