“We went there about a month ago for the first time. Shortly after that car plunged into the water there. It's a great location, plenty of parking. Many areas to go for a walk. Please on the boardwalk fishing. It was very peaceful. We loved it. A nice place to escape the hustle and bustle.
Nice spot, park for kids, large lawn, baseball field, wading pool from July to September, wonderful neighbourhood, trail to marina. Short trail but lots of wildlife. Lake is what it is, its Lake Ontario. Well maintained and clean.”
“The chef at the Germania Club is among the best in the area, and the restaurant is simply fantastic. The staff is also incredibly friendly. The food makes you want to come back for more. It tastes like food prepared at home by a five-star chef. Simply incredible!”
“Good place to play bowling in Hamilton. Prices have gotten really expensive, especially in the arcade zone with less bang for your buck. The service is so/so but the venue is large and can host parties easily.”
“I've been there a few times, withe friends and for staff events. Always a good time, and the food is very good too. They brought it all out to us. Very friendly staff as well.”
“We went down to Grimsby for the eclipse and we stayed at the Casablanca for 3 days. It is a stately old hotel, very clean with modest but adequate rooms. The service was friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is lovely and the staircase is worth the drive to Grimsby!!Casablanca Hotel is close to the waterfront which is spectacular.Unfortunately the two on-site restaurants were closed Sunday to Monday but we found great restaurants close by. The pool looked fun and there was even a small workout room in the basement. Lovely stay !!”
“The gentleman at this bar very friendly and great espresso. But you're really coming here for the sandwiches. It's a hidden gem where you can find an artisan crafting chicken and veal cutlet sandwiches along with fresh meatball and if you're lucky, sometimes porchetta.”
