“I just ordered some supplies for my camp which is 30 km off the highway. Everything was delivered properly but they forgot two bags of screws. That was no big deal as things happen and I could make do until I got back in town where I could go pick up the screws. However, the delivery driver, Troy, unexpectedly drove all the way out to my camp by 8 am this morning to drop off the screws. This is why I shop local over the big box stores. That is service. “Update: Thank you, Rona, for sending me new batteries. The snowblower works great now. I purchased a Kobalt 40V Snowblower in January 2024. One of the reasons I bought this product is because the warranty states I should return it to the store where I purchased it if there are any problems. I used it twice last winter, stored it appropriately and recharged the batteries last summer. Now the batteries won't stay charged. I took it back to this store and was told Rona no longer deals with Kobalt, and that I have to deal directly with the manufacturer. When I got back home and searched online, I discovered that's not the case - this store, and plenty of other Rona stores sell this product. We're facing a significant snowstorm, and I'm without a snowblower.”
