“OK… knowledgeable, professional, helpful staff! But once again, they didn’t let us buy anything… they came outside and spent 5-10 minutes explaining how we could repair a paint chip on our car, just above the windshield… and finished by explaining it wasn’t necessary to buy a whole can of spray paint just to squirt twice, “just use the paint stick you got with the car”… and that was it!I’m pretty sure my visits to CarQuest Thornbury are running 50/50… buy something vs “you don’t need it” or “go to Hindle’s for that” (Hindle’s is an old school hardware store that’s kind of a local landmark).So they’ve got my business and my trust!Great place to start… even if they won’t sell you anything… and if they do sell you something, you can be darn sure you actually need it! What a concept!”
