The staffs are always very nice here. I brought my dog in at a quiet time for a training session. One of the staffs gave me some good recommendations, I didn’t get her name but she even noticed my dog needs space and she let me know right away when there’s an off leash dog walking in. I really appreciate it!

I love Rens pets, specifically this one, the staff are always so super helpful and understanding and are very sweet towards customers as well as my pup who I bring in with me every time I drop in, they are always there to give a treat to your dog (with consent of course) Prices are fairly reasonable, some of the dog gear and kibble can get kind of pricy but overall I really love coming to this Rens pets depot due to its convenience and friendly staff! :)

This store is a complete disappointment. I came here to buy a hair clipper. I saw that it said -20%, I asked the consultant, he confirmed that it was so. I chose it and went to the cashier. They told me that there was no longer any discount, so why don't they take back these prices? They don't know the sales rules. They should sell me at this price. It's not my problem that they don't take back the old prices.

Went today at 10:30am.
Seems like only one staff member at the time who was literally coughing and hacking away continually without making any attempt to cover mouth.
I was so grossed out I left without making a purchase.
Other times I have walked in and no one to be found for assistance.
Will not be back.

ordered some frozen raw on sale online last year, did click and collect, on the day i was supposed to pick up, i get a call from them saying they had a roof collapse incident, and could not fulfill my order, so they cancelled it, but i was welcome to call back any time in the future for the same products, and they would honour the promotion. but at the time, because i already ran out, i had to go to multiple other locations to get what i needed, and i usually buy in bulk, so that bulk lasted me until now. but today, i called them about it, and apparently its under new management, and the new manager refused to honour it cuz theres no notes on file, even tho she says she believes me. ironically i specifically asked back then if they could send me an email for it, and he said its ok, just call back and explain the situation, and they will honour it. i guess the lesson is, dont ever take their words for it, get it in writing.

Has everything I need for my dog and carries his favourite food brand (Stella and Chewy’s). They offer a variety of loyalty programs on pet foods, depending on the brand. Staff is always friendly and helpful

Very professional friendly staff. I love the return policy as well. My cat didn't agree with the scented litter I purchased and was exchanged with unscented, no problem.

Since the change in staff this place has gone downhill. Products we have been purchasing for over two years are never in stock now. When we asked the staff they tried to tell us they are fully stocked in the store or they never carried our products. Our purchase history can show that they are incorrect. All other location's that are not close to home never have this issue. The new manager is scared of dogs and walks to the back when they come in. Sadly we will need to take our business elsewhere. It's very sad since our dog loved going to the store and seeing everyone that worked there for the last few years. It was a huge mistake letting Patrick go.

Love this location with all my heart.
Staff are amazing, especially Renee!
Renée, I hope that I spelled her name correctly, very customer oriented.
Her advice is always on point. Renee makes you feel welcome and appreciated. I have other Ren's pet locations closer, but I would rather do a trip to get to 1054 Center St, Thornhill, just because of customer service.
Thank you, beautiful people, for such wonderful customer service.
And your reward program is awesome.

I am very shocked and saddened to find out about the dismissal of Patrick the manager. We have been coming to Ren’s for over 6 years and we have followed Patrick from store to store just for astounding customer service.
We will no longer be coming to Ren’s ever again, and us along with all our Dog friends will be taking our business elsewhere. ☹️

This location has gone downhill since management got rid of the manager. I heard most of the staff quit in protest. No personality anymore.
Stock of my weekly supplies are always out of stock.

Worst place EVER... Was in there for almost 20 minutes looking for kitten stuff. Wasn't even greeted by store employee. She was on the phone the whole time. Couldn't find what we were looking for.. Was going to buy something but she was still on the phone. Just left...

My girlfriend and i just bought a new puppy last night. We wanted to wait a few weeks but when we took a look we couldnt help ourselves and were not prepared at all! When we got to the store we had ideas of what to get but werent confident.
Elena took amazing care of us!! She told us exactly what we needed and the first night was perfect. We came the next morning to get some toys and she was there and very helpful once again. I highly recommend Rens pets for any oet needs and if you have a dog then elena is the expert you want to speak to. Thank you so much!
