Hours: Foodland Thorold is a clean, pleasant store with a relaxed, small-town atmosphere. Many customers appreciate the friendly, good staff and the quality service. Specific departments receive high praise, especially the amazing meat department, which is known for having the absolute best store-made sausages at a reasonable price. The bakery items are also good, and the produce quality is impressive. While the recent addition of alcohol is a welcome convenience, some customers express disappointment over the many self-checkouts and wish for a small LCBO section instead.
