“The problem began on a Tuesday night with a door lock issue with the washing machine.
The problem was resolved by Wednesday morning when I had the good fortune of speaking with Chris at Pambis Appliance. He was so patient with me, trying to and succeeding, in helping me out of the situation. He stayed on the phone with me for about 30 minutes and after the settings on the machine were reset, Chris asked me to call him back after running another load of laundry through the washer just to let him know how things turned out.
Honestly, it's rare thing, in these times, to find a business that still cares and goes out of its way to help a stranger. Thanks again Chris.

This is my fourth visit to this Home Depot location, and every experience has been excellent. The staff here are consistently professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Whenever I need information or assistance, they take the time to explain everything from scratch and guide me patiently.
In the past, I have interacted with several staff members, including the manager, and everyone has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Today, I visited to purchase painting materials and was especially impressed by Ms. Susan at the paint counter. She provided outstanding support, clearly explained my options, and helped me choose exactly what I needed within my budget. Her guidance made the entire process easy and stress-free.
This is truly Canadian-style customer service at its best, and I feel proud to shop at this location. Highly recommended. WOW!”

“Been going to 5 home depots for the past 6 months for a major renovation and ranking them all now. Have very mixed reviews for this location but overall good service.
Flooring lady was very patient, gave really good advice and also helped me set up a HD credit card and Pro account.
Most of the other departments had friendly and knowledgeable staff and found the time to help me find the items I needed.
The lumber department was the only department not helpful. Instead of cutting something for me they told me to go look for something else instead and walked away. If I found something more suitable I would have. That was the only negative encounter at this location.”

“Home Depot – Gerrard Square
The Home Depot at Gerrard Square is a valuable and convenient stop, especially with plenty of parking in the plaza. The store offers a wide range of home improvement supplies, making it easy to find what you need for most projects.
One downside is that it can be hard to find staff on the shop floor when you need help. You often have to walk around looking for assistance, which can be frustrating. Improving staff visibility or availability would make the experience much smoother.
Overall, it’s a reliable store for selection and convenience, with room for better in-store support.”
“I have been to many stores to find a specific plant, but in vein. On Jan 12, 2026 I came to this RONA store at the southeast corner of Steeles & Markham with a slim of hope. To my surprise, it had the exact plant I wanted. The store manager Trevor greeted me when I stepped into the store and looked around, and he guided me to the section. The cashier Avi was nice as well. He even gave me a discount because the plant was a Xmas item. I had a great experience at RONA thanks to Trevor and Avi.”
“Went to this Rona today before the snowstorm. I walked inside and was almost immediately helped by a small lady, who must've sensed, i was lost in a foreign land. I think her name was Maria. She helped me find a specific spark plug that I was looking for and walked me to go get it. Made my visit quick”

“Jerry and his delivery/installation crew did an outstanding job. They didn’t have an easy task due to the weight of the washing machine and having to carry it all the way to the 3’rd floor, having to maneuver tight spaces to fit it. They were extremely professional and patient. Can’t recommend them enough.”
