Bakka-Phoenix Books is the most complete bookstore in the speculative fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, and horror genre. It offers an amazing selection of new and used books, with everything a reader of speculative fiction could want. The space is very cute and cozy, though a bit small. The staff are patient, kind, lovely, friendly, and helpful, offering excellent tailored recommendations. Handwritten notes on the shelves point out hidden gems. It is a very chill environment with a rewards program, making it a welcoming place for all. There is no place like this place throughout space, making visitors proud to be Torontonian.

Went here for a book signing and it was absolutely lovely! The space is a bit small so if you're really excited and want a good view go a bit early. But all the staff were lovely and the store was very cute and cozy!

Great selection if you like sff, including both classics and new releases. Plus, used books in the basement.
