About Dollar 4 U
Dollar 4 U is a great small business located in Cabbagetown, just a few doors down from Dollarama. The prices are basically the same, but the selection is better in many ways. It is a functional, honest store focused on serving the neighborhood. The staff is very friendly, courteous, and very helpful.
The store carries practical, everyday items and hardware stuff that other stores don’t always have, laid out in a sensible way. It has an incredible selection of items, including basic clothing, hats, scarves, gloves, shoes, kitchen supplies, and an amazing incense collection. You can also get helium balloons there, a service not easily found nearby. Good deals and reasonably priced items can be found, making it a first stop for household needs.
However, it is suggested to try any electronics, like headphones or cables, in the store before leaving, as some compatible pieces may not work. The staff is accommodating with refunds for such items.

Love this place, the prices are phenomenal! This is one of the last true dollar stores available , and the things you find here are so unique! I support this place whenever I can, and I shop here very regular! The owner is so kind and helpful. ♥

They have a super vast selection. Also helium balloons. I try to go here over Dollarama to support local as much as possible.
