“I go to Totera's from over 27km away because it's a treat. Not only does it have an awesome selection of meats and cheeses; the staff is very helpful including the owners. They have a few high end products that are costly but also several foods that are at or below fair market price. They're in it to run a good ship and they care about their patrons that sail by too.”

“Stopped by Peters Food Shop for some real NOT in a plastic bag with some kinda gross fluids, chemicals and who knows what else authentic corned beef brisket for St. Paddy’s day dinner. OUTSTANDING. The meat AND the service. I had a great conversation with the friendliest fella you’d want to meet that I was served by that even included some helpful cooking tips that I took advantage of and the meat turned out just perfect. Best corned beef brisket I have had in 50 years. The shop is about 40 minutes from my home but has proved well worth the trip. I’ll be heading back there sooner than later.”
“Butcher’s that care. They are happy to vacuum seal meat including complimentary seasoning. As someone who sous vide this is very helpful as I don’t need to buy a proper vacuum sealer.
Service is friendly, knowledgeable and all their pre marinated products are excellent. Their fresh burgers are excellent as well although a touch pricey at $5.
My only real complaint is they aren’t open mon to Wednesday. I’ve tried the larger butchers and really appreciate the smaller size of this butcher. I previously wrote they did not carry burger / hot dog buns. They now do, perfect one stop shop to bring good stuff for a friends bbq or a quick meal!

“Love the Honey Glazed Ham Company !! The best hams available over other Hams out there at other stores. A one of a kind shop. We order every year for all our special family days as well as most Holidays and they never disappoint, all our friends and family members ask for us to bring the ham to the parties. We have even been asked to take some centre sliced ham out to BC in an upcoming visit to family. In spite of sometime long lines to pick up orders we get the best customer service from those lovely ladies serving the customers. Cannot give enough praise for quality of food and service. I'd give them 10 Stars on here if there was a choice!!”

“First time buying fresh goat meat from this location base on a friends recommendation. Drove 30 mins from hwy10/410. Not disappointed at all. All the brampton famous ornknow meat shops sell frozen boneless goat meat and meat that’s been sitting awhile (not sold). I got 3lbs and the goat meat was red in colour and not frozen. Excellent quality”

“Many years ago, when I was a student, I used to order my meat from Persian Meat. I would always ask for Mr. Ahad. Whenever I placed an order, I’d simply tell him it was for myself and he would kindly take care of the rest.
When he asked how much I needed, I often didn’t know. He would patiently explain what I should order, prepare everything for me and even show me how to properly open and use the packaging.
For years, I continued ordering from Persian Meat. Even after I moved farther away and had to drive an hour to get there, I still preferred to go back. Whenever I was in the area, I would call in advance and place my order.
I did try other places for convenience or just to explore different options but none matched the quality, customer service or patience I experienced there.
Today, while recommending the place to a friend, I realized how long I’ve been a customer. Since my student days, I’ve relied on Mr. Ahad. I would simply explain what I needed, whether I was cooking for guests or preparing quick meals as a student and he always knew exactly what to do and provided the best service.”
“Grilled Steak Sandwich ???, the best I’ve had. Arancini were made fresh and crispy. The sauce was uncomplicated, just simply delicious. The veal was also very good, however, the star without question was the grilled steak sandwich.”
