“Required a tow from my residence and Eric B was the operator who arrived. I had my young children present(4 and 8yrs), not only was Eric very professional and extremely efficient on getting the vehicle hooked up, but he also took some time to explain to the kids which lever did what and how the truck bed operated which made their day.
Google needs a to allow a zero star rating for crummy companies and a 5+ star rating for people like Eric B and the company that they respeesent.
I don't plan on calling for a Tow in the near future but if I do, I will be calling B&B and requesting Eric B.
Keep up the great service.”

“On the night of February 6, my car broke down on Highway 26, near 10th Concession, Stayner, Ontario, around 9:30 PM due to a serious mechanical issue.
I couldn’t restart it, so I pushed it to the shoulder with great difficulty to avoid an accident. Just ten minutes later, a heavy snowstorm started, and my emergency lights were the only thing keeping me visible in the dark.
As a CAA member since 2017, I sent a roadside assistance request through their app. An hour passed with no update. I called, and they assured me they would update my request, but another hour later—still nothing. My phone and car battery were almost dead, and snow had completely covered my car.
The temperature had dropped to -30°C, and my partner and I could barely feel our legs. I called again, and a different agent told me my request had just been moved to dispatch. Another 45 minutes passed, and when I called back, they told me no tow trucks were available, and I had to wait longer.
I explained how serious our situation was, but the agent had no solution. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and they put me on hold for 40 minutes—no one answered. Frustrated and shivering, I finally hung up with just 30% battery left.I was losing hope, and my body was becoming numb from the cold. Suddenly, I saw flashing blue lights behind me—two angels in uniform, OPP officers, had arrived. To be honest, I was nervous, as this was my first time dealing with police in such a situation. Despite my panic, I explained everything to them. The male officer, much younger than me, was calm, confident, and professional. Even though he was younger, he had a strong, reassuring presence and spoke with certainty and control, making me feel safe.
His female partner, though I didn’t speak with her directly, was another angel. She remained vigilant and observant, ensuring everything was under control. Even without words, her calm demeanor, alertness, and professionalism helped ease my fear and discomfort.
They told me, "It’s okay, we’re here to help you." The male officer then sent a tow truck request through OPP dispatch. Around the same time, I received an update from CAA—a tow truck in Barrie had accepted my call but would take 40 minutes to arrive. The officers said that was fine and left briefly for another emergency in the area. Then, the worst happened—the CAA tow truck canceled my request. When the officers returned, I told them what had happened. The male officer asked if I wanted a tow truck from another company, and I immediately said yes. He placed another request through OPP dispatch. By now, my car battery was completely dead, my phone had only 10 minutes of battery left, and my partner and I were shivering uncontrollably. Finally, after 10 more minutes, another angel arrived—a B&B tow truck driver. The driver was incredibly kind. He told me, "I can’t take you all the way to Toronto, but I can drive you somewhere warm, like Tim Hortons." At that moment, even the idea of warmth felt like a blessing. We called CAA again, and even the tow truck driver spoke to them. The CAA operator finally agreed to send another truck to 203 Main Street East, Stayner, ON. When I tried to pay the tow truck driver for his service, he refused. He simply smiled and said, "No charge, just stay warm." Another angel that night. Once we arrived at the 24/7 Tim Hortons at 7377 Highway 26, Stayner, ON, we finally felt relief—a place to warm up and get food. But when we tried to enter, the doors were locked. We knocked on the drive-thru window, explained our situation, and even offered to buy food, but they refused. I couldn't believe it.
Disappointed, we noticed a Circle K gas station at 7380 Highway 26, Stayner, ON across the street. We hurried over, and another angel, the cashier, welcomed us inside. He saw how cold and exhausted we were and didn’t hesitate to offer us a warm place to stay. He even let us charge our phones, and we updated CAA with our new location. After waiting another 50 minut”
